@DaemonGirl11 Excuse my nerdiness, but cats actually don't use any spit when they wash themselves. Their tongues are incredibly dry, and if you pet them right after they wash themselves, they're completely dry.
I've written long, long stories that I had to throw the towel in with before. Actually, it wasn't that hard for me, because I just faced up to the huge plot holes I'd left in those stories and admitted to myself that I had no idea what I was doing. I hope I've learned from that.
Awwww, kitty! As far as cat baths go, that was a pretty successful one! Or was a lot of it edited out? :)
1. You make me feel better about leaving my NaNo in the dust for a bit. I can't stand it, for some reason, and shelving sounds much nicer than giving up.
2. My cat's just a kitten right now, and we use these pet wipes that she doesn't mind. I shudder to imagine actually bathing her, adorable though she is.
Your cat is incredibly well behaved. It takes two or three people to bath our cats. One to hold him or her down and the other to do the actual bathing. Maybe I'm evil, but I actually look forward to cat bathing day. It makes me laugh.
this is so helpful! In more than one way! But...my cat would kill me. :P Your videos always make me smile and laugh, especially when I've had a bad writing day. Thanks so much!
Great words Jackson. I went through this with the first draft of my current novel. It was absolutely horrid when I finished it, and I did abandon it for a good amount of time. Several months (and one more novel) later, I came back to it with fresh eyes. I kept many of the original ideas and went to work on subsequent drafts. Now I'm heading towards the finish line on draft three, and if I didn't go through that first horrible draft, the manuscript wouldn't be where it is today.
Cats are never clean unless you give them a bath. Wanna know why? They're just covered in cat spit!

It's okay. I have a cat, I know that. I just read the quote somewhere and thought it was funny to share here with everyone on youtube.

Poor kitteh, I wish Phoebe could fit in my kitchen sink and behave like Alcott. And again another great written tip.
