You are right its not typical for a car to beat a bike. You have to factor in a lot of things into the race. From a dig cars dont stand much of a chance, but as start speeds increse it becomes much easier especially on the top end. There are a lot of street cars out there that will embarrass most bikes period.

I can already tell you right now that you wouldn't beat an R6. I've raced an LS2 with 600 rwhp N/A and won by 3 or 4 lengths. Also, you will definitely lose on the top end. Our Camaros don't have the best aerodynamic body.

Anyway, you have to think also in the top end is where that turbo really opens up and makes all of its power. "top end" I'm referring to is high RPMs, not 150+, I race until 100~110 then that's enough.

I was talking 160+. The other problem is that a lot of people don't properly break in their motors on their bikes. This makes such a dramatic difference. I can't tell you how many times I smoke other 600s and sometimes stay steady with 1000s until about 60 or so. It really pays to take care of your motor.

I don't have much input as far as those speeds go, never felt the need to go that fast on a public road, i enjoy the feeling of speed via acceleration more than top speed personally...

At the end of the day though I have way more fun on my bike than i do in my car.
