He wasn't. He worships spooks and spirits. The Bible doesn't teach us about a spook God. Why doesn't he explain Exodus 15:3 "The LORD [is] a man of war: the LORD [is] his name." As well as Judges 1:19 "And the LORD was with Judah; and he drave out [the inhabitants of] the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron."
