It's a shame that we have so many clods who don't give due props for the people risking their lives to preserve the way of life so many of these immature brats take for granted.
As corrupt as this world is,we all have the duty to at least make this planet a safer place, and not just the soldiers, veterens, and casualties who risked thier lives everyday.
I'll admit that I may not be the most thoughtful or caring person around, but mostly every night before I go to bed ,I think about how life is too short and that we all have to live it for as long as we can.
May God bless you kevin and to all the veterens who gave us our freedom and a better life.

I know what you are talking about, but the problem is that theres relatively few "freedom wars" in the history of mankind.
Of course I still apriciate them, but a lot of what I got, I credit to scientists not soilders... (Go to thunderf00ts videos to see what im talking about)
well my class did 2 minuets of silence 2day, and i must addmit most of them were ungrafull b******rds as they were whispering to each other and kept giggling like retards. thats gratitude 4 ya...

I believe that every culture that creates armys is a culture of violence and dead.
Look at what happend in Guatemala, those soldiers haven´t seen action in years, but in the moment they were order to kill civilians they do it without contemplation.
VERY MIX FEELINGS ABOUT THIS! thats how I Feel....pro's: Familey has been in EVERY Branch of the miltery(I'm Not Kidding...one of my great uncles co-founded the seals.) so,respect,is high up their, for them....HOWEVER, I have my own personal feelings about the milteary.

I respect the people who died but you should not hold up a marine or anyone who is in the armed forces as a hero. They are brainwashed thugs going around killing in the name of a totalitarian country.
not all are. MOST are very sane people that deserve to be called a hero in every definition of the world. of course theyre are crzies looking for thrills but thats a smal percentage. both my grandfathers were in the military and they are both sane and loving guys
Yes but people do not seem to understand that governments do not create huge armies to fight for the freedom that they themselves restrict, so they are led to beleive that they are fighting for "freedom" which is a false pretense. If we cannot control what goes into our own bodys and our own minds then what freedom do we really have?
My brother was in the navy and was over in the middle-east. I tried to join the army but i could pass the pt-test. i suck at running. I made through boot-camp.
Your video is as useful to me as it is respectful for the veterans because i thought Rememberance Day was Monday. (the Monday closest to the official date) Therefore, I thought about it Sunday because there were already events taking place during the week-end and also because I was afraid of forgetting about it on Monday...wich I did. So I'm releive to know once and for all that the official day is indeed the 11th. Merci Kevin, pour mon cousin qui repartira en Afghanistan en mai 2010.
u know Cause We KICK ASS!!!Great speech kev. My family has a past of veterans(Great Grandpa). We will never forget him. He acually fought in WWII!!! -Amen
I have all the respect for war veterans. They have seen death all around them and have seen their friends getting killed and hurt as they are heading into combat against terrorists while they hear gunfire and the screams of dieing people around them. That is problably what alot of people would call bravey to do that, including myself. If any veteran out there is watching this I want to thank you for giving up almost all you have to fight for everyone out there.I salute you all. God bless you.
Kevin, in does my heart good to know you're doing a video like this and you have respect for the troops in your country. I wish i would see more people here in the US recognize veterans day and show some respect. People here forget what soldiers have done for each of our countries. Thank you for making a video like this Kevin.
Great job! It just feels like not enough people really take the time to remember those who have, and still are, sacrificing everything for us.
It kills me to see the Christmas push begin the minute October ends and overshadow the month that we should be paying tribute and respect for our veteran past and present. Always remember to wear a poppy in respect, folks. :)
I get the first comment. Oh and DCompose. I know your Candian but did you read the Amazing Spider-Man issue in which Flash Thompson enlists in the army to fight in Iraq and Afganistan.
I havent watched the vid yet. i just like getting first comment LOL.

You are so stupid. You have no intelligence at all if you think the armed forces make this country free.

Maybe so! But you're forgetting the other billions of people that struggle even worse than Canada and the US.
I found it just to simple to claim this "freedom" when it heavily relies on others misery!!
