Acctualy i am a ret palla, i got this boss (HC ofc) maybe because of the 10% nerf (lol, ofc it is) but i think we killed him with 30 secs to enrage. Just saying melee is not that bad. We was two melees btw

Melee don't have the option to attack every target in the fight that's what unfortunately makes them bad for this encounter.

@1qlues Killing it 30 seconds before he enrages with a 10% nerf and significantly more gear than when this video was made doesn't mean melee aren't terrible on this counter, it means the fight is a heluva lot easier and you can scrape through.

You are awesome at healing. But tbh, you could use Tranq. basicly 2-3 times in this fight. One in the beginning, one in P2, etc.

Should be noted here that Unholy DK's should NOT use their OP AMZ in the first phase! It is so efficient that the raid will take almost no damage and the ship will take it ALL. DO NOT USE!

are guild is curently attempting this atm. we can only get about 4 range DPS with this. we have people getting 1 shot by the barrage attack and after the first wave of dragons the ships already below half HP and getting fire everywhere. what are any tips or tricks we could try to avoid this becuase theres something not clicking and were just dieing about 1-2min into every pull and are not anywere close to seeing P2

a tip for warmaster (normal or heroic) for range dps:

he will alternate between 1 roar (aoe wave) and 1 shockwave. you only get silenced if you are within 15yards of him when he roars. so, after he roars, stack on the boss. then you will avoid the shockwave easily. then go out to 15 yards and wait for another roar. then stack on boss. repeat :)

Ranged DPS on the drakes would just have to be extremely strong... targeting macros are useful when they're flying above the ship as the adds are being dropped down.

I guess you can overcome shitty comp with badass skill , not always tho. For example we used to do Bot / bwd / throne HC with two Resto shamans and after finding the right tactics for us it all went well

hi, first of all, we got a healer problem in our 10men hc grp. but in "normal heroics" our dps can fix this (we beat hagara hc_10 on 2minuts before the berserk timer hits). our setup will be resto-shaman, resto-druid and disz-priest. i dont think we would even have a chance to 2-heal it. we also got no rogue^^. do u see even a chance to kill it in the "3 healers / no rogue case" (all our hc 10 kills, happend with a very bad lineup too).

Fire is generally stronger yes but do not under estimate 3% spell damage for the rest of your raid ;)

@FatbossTV Arcane Tactics is a straight 3% damage, not just spell damage. Our mage loves fire, but we always point out that he won't be able to do more damage as fire than he does as arcane +3% to the entire raid.

Fair few pulls on this boss and it's manic, is there a way to stop fire spawning so soon/spreading so much, I noticed your fire seems to disappear where as ours never went away, just kept getting worse...is it something to do with ships % damage? I read fire comes at 75%, 50%, 25%?

@orcaholic113 Mages run Arcane on this fight as its large amounts of burst in a potentially short amount of time, which is why they also have the mage roosted on the top of the ship to try and help him avoid damage making this a minimal movement fight, if you look into it you would see a lot of mages run arcane on this fight over fire on heroic
