The entire MN Twins organization is like this ~ our 14 yr old son was terminally ill and they treated him like one of the family. Invited him to batting practice and he met Kevin Slowey, Denard Span and Justin Morneau. Kevin went out of his way to hang out with him...so awesome..that kid was on top of the world that night. The Twins front office signed his Caringbridge site a few times even. Thanks, Kevin ~ you are a class act of the first magnitude !!
that is so cool, its so touching how they connect with kids..i wish Slowey would visit me with a Slowey poster.....ah, slowey is AMAZING! so glad they didnt trade him for lee! id be lost without him!
