@avianmegadeth87 i suppose its true that "old fashioned" Christians would consider alternative/rock/metal bands of the devil and the like. but i have been listening to Project 86 for somewhere between 8-10 years, and this is not the only metal christian band out there theres a good handful that have been out quite a few years. and there is definantly nothing wrong with metal christian bands in the least

I agree, to be honest my fellow Christians get on my nerves a lot of the time, it seems like most just read 1-2 books of the bible then make up the rest to fit their world view, any music that isn't 15th century gospel music is evil, fighting and violence are evil (their not pleasant but we're in a war), then many have statues of angels, catholics pray to Mary, I'd say the greatest threats to Christianity, are from mislead christians, just my opinion though.

@wristpin001 Does everything a Christian band writes have to relate to Jesus? To quote their Wikipedia page, their singer writes most of his lyrics based on his emotions. Christian rock is not worship music, and not even necessarily music written about subjects that are even remotely religious or supernatural, but music about the same feelings and ethical issues everyone else sings about. It's just written by bands whose members are Christian, from the standpoint of someone who follows Christ.
