btw, the remastered edition sucks balls compared to the original. the slap bass is toned down, the staccato strings are sustained too long.... all of the most memorable aspects of this song are pretty much changed for the worst.

@gilgammesh1 @gilgammesh1 as a matter of fact, there are a ton of remastered version of this song. Don't remember the credits for the one i listened to because it was from a torrent and I got rid of it pretty fast. However, if you just type "Birth of a God remastered", youll get a load of results.

@Nightmare5355 I can beat this guy without knights of the round so long as you can cause more damage then what he can heal its a very simple fight (although now I can do three party fights due to all the grinding and I have to resort to making cait sith and yuffie a third party and I haven't even done any grinding and just ignored them)

I was the person who got KOTR materia and then never really used it bc I always felt no sense of accomplishment 1 shoting. I usually toyed around with Safer long enough to see Super Nova or until I was satisfied and then used it, just to be like F_CK YOU!! Idk, I just always liked the battles to go on longer than the time it takes to use the summon. Its silly bc I was playing against an AI but I liked to at least give the AI the satisfaction of taking a couple of turns before I killed them..lol

I have to disagree with the people that say this is better than One-Winged Angel. One Winged Angel is just epic and twisted like Sephiroth himself. It definitely fits Sephy 's personality better. Not saying that song isn't good, cause it is. But OWA is better, in my opinion.

This music should have been Safer Sephy's theme imo, it fits in a little better with prior FF end bosses. Kinda reminds me a bit of Exdeath(5) and Kefka(6). Don't get me wrong, One Winged Angel is a fantastic piece, but I believe that this would have been better for the "final" music.
