Great display. I've got a Marto Atlantean myself. Beautiful swords, but they have rat tail tangs and are fairly delicate. You could possibly pop the tang just by swinging it around. They are strictly for display only. For that reason, I think the Marto is overpriced. The Albion has a full tang, and is the only one I would trust for swinging and cutting. That being said, I would never pay $3000 for it, or for any sword for that matter.

Did you know that Albion is re releasing all the Conan Movie Swords again? All of them. I'm Tempted to get the Atlantean and The Fathers Sword but they are $3000 each? Marto are $500 each. Are Albion worth it?

I've swung eight pounds around and pulled muscles, even snapped a couple of cheap swords, that really pisses me off. I AM an REH fan too! That man left us a magnificent store of heroic characters and stories, presented in an epic but MODERN style. The ONLY thing I do not advise is trying to read ALL the Conan stories one after the other - then you start to realise that the same situations and characters do turn up again and again and again - but isn't that to some extent true of all authors? REH was a brilliant writer, and everybody else follows him.
Man it is hard to get a good barbarian sword these days, one such as Conan's that is strong and powerful, with a hand and a half handle, and a sturdy block bar, when you are in a hard battle, you need a strong blade, and a blade such as Conan's is the one. yes, Crom is pleased,

You have entered an area that is MY specialty. The skull appears to be a well-painted Skilcraft model. :)
They are very difficult to find nowadays. The skull originally comes with a mandible and separate teeth which can be set so they are removable.
