Obviously you have no knowledge of Christianity, if you have ever attended church you would know that they don't teach us to reject people. The issue of morality is simply, evolution describes a change in allele frequency in successive generations where the best traits usually survive. Morals can easily be a result of this.

A basic level of understanding of chemistry could help you to understand how 'life' could have come from 'no life'. It is impossible to prove that God doesn't exist, because he is described to exist beyond anything perceptible. But then again it is equally as impossible to prove that a pink unicorn isn't following you everywhere you go but whenever you look at it it's invisible. Also when you try to touch it your hand passes through it. How does this pink unicorn differ from God?

@DerNiedertraechtig I never said it disproves God. I was merely trying to suggest a hypothesis of how life came about by a process of abiogenesis. Evolution is completely different. It is only talking about a change in allele frequency over time. Implications of this are various breeds of dogs for example. We have successfully bred dogs that cannot mate with other breeds of dogs. That is a perfect example of evolution. As for Darwanism, that was the developing form of evolution.

I thought it was according to science and humanities fervent pursuit of knowledge that we were animals.
The issue of morality is simply, evolution describes a change in allele frequency in successive generations where the best traits usually survive. Morals can easily be a result of this.

It is impossible to prove that God doesn't exist, because he is described to exist beyond anything perceptible. But then again it is equally as impossible to prove that a pink unicorn isn't following you everywhere you go but whenever you look at it it's invisible. Also when you try to touch it your hand passes through it. How does this pink unicorn differ from God?

@DerNiedertraechtig I never said it disproves God. I was merely trying to suggest a hypothesis of how life came about by a process of abiogenesis. Evolution is completely different. It is only talking about a change in allele frequency over time. Implications of this are various breeds of dogs for example. We have successfully bred dogs that cannot mate with other breeds of dogs. That is a perfect example of evolution. As for Darwanism, that was the developing form of evolution.

Thirdly Darwinism is where a species changes it's traits and advances in simplified terms. If you read origin of man it becomes clear his illogical theory is that a species advances with an unlimited type of genetic traits, allowing it to change body shape and so forth.

@MALSIV complex and structured everything gets. Isn't that kind of contrary to evolutionary theory? Everything is supposed to start off less complex and grow in complexity as you "zoom out"? Also If there was no God, how do we explain our sense of morality and ethics? We can't say "morals are determined by what is right for the individual" because that swings the door open for anarchy, genocide, and everything else that we don't want in society. @chyeaaitskristyn what do you think you like for then? i don't know if this will sound rude or not i don't mean it to but it sound like the way you put it is that you live for yourself then die for in all reality nothing then being a good person, my pastor was talking about salvation and how if it is a true saving salvation the it shows good works but its not all about praying the sinners prayer or being good to people but being saved if its real and you meant it it shows by good works.

He would want you to keep learning how to better yourself in ways that are best for you. Your own existence is a miracle why do you need a god to "worship" and beg for help, or advice? The only thing that gets you through this world is your own brain, and your own two feet. People forget how brutal nature is, and all these little habits humans have are just symbolism and are irrelevant to your true existence on this planet. Get what your saying but firstly the last line just contradicts your whole arguement since if there is a hell there is a more than likey chance there is a heaven or whatever you version of the opp from hell. But at the end of the day you remind me why I love God more seeing that he can create 2 identical people e.g U and I and we both live in the same time period yet can go through the same experiences give or take some variables and see the world in a diff way. people. All religions have tons of loop holes for people to pick apart, and make their own. This to me is unfair, and can cause much confusion. One says this way, one says that way? How do I know which way to go? Christians think their right, but I say their wrong. But who's to say I'm right and their wrong? Its all what YOU do with your own thoughts. No religion can make you a better person. Not Jesus, not no one. If Jesus was real he wouldn't want people wasting their time on worship

become enlightened...not the case. It requires years of diligent practice to understand how your mind operates. You hope through listening to others that you too will now have what you want. The trick is freeing your mind of ALL conditioning...That includes religion. Most of you are seeking how to condition your mind better, when that doesn't do anything, It will always lead you back to the same place. Be aware of your conditioning, and take steps toward freeing your mind from all of this.

@ItsaFunnyThing it is...but WHY IS HE A CHRISTIAN IF HE BELIEVES THAT?!? Its stupid! Religious labels are so pointless, and just separate us from the truth. WERE ALL THE SAME! We all search for a reason why we are here...You don't need some special rulebook, or a special label to seek these reasons. @chyeaaitskristyn i totally agree with you, but some people seem to need those labels. and if thats what drives you to be a better person then so be it. i have a lot of issues with religion but the part of it that pushes people to be better im ok with. so i think that if you arent able to just learn and be good and religion does that for you by giving you rules, then so be it. of course i HATE it when people use religion as an excuse to murder and be cruel. that makes me really really mad

@ItsaFunnyThing well, why keep on supporting something that gives people excuses to be good/bad? People that use it for good are still missing a huge point, and that to have faith in YOURSELF. You were put on this Earth to make choices. Each one of those choices reflect who you are as a person, and make an impact on where you will be. Religion is a "crutch" for people who in my opinion refuse to look at life through a different lens. I'm not saying that people that are religious are bad

@CoreyG852 laws - as previously stated - through the very nature of Christ), history (historically the Bible is accurate and there has yet to be any true error or contradiction found in the Bible. The reason being, it is the inspired word of God.) So far, I have yet to see any holes in Christianity. It explains 1.the existence of the universe and is scientifically acceptable, 2. morality, 3. social structure (how it should be), 3. the basis of law, 4. economic standpoints. Need I go on?...

You equate religion with ego, when really, they are two separate things that have no relation whatsoever to the true Christian. The ultimate goal of a Christian is to serve God, the one who we believe to be the creator of the universe. Ego is typically self centered, and living without God in fact shifts more of life's focus on one's self, rather than on serving other people. It's true, many godless people have a HUGE ego, so I'm not sure where you have created that argument from, getting rid of

But I then called you on that statement and asked what gives you the authority to voice your beliefs? I was trying to expose the fact that yes, Aaron voices his opinions, and you say it is wrong, yet you do the same. You speak of an "arising consciousness". A consciousness of what though?

@chaosrokkfreak Well, without me doing this Christians will win the war or religion, and the arising new consciousness that I believe to be sweeping through us all will fail to happen. Although I feel truth will always find its way to the top, there needs to be people who put the idea in the universe of others. Whether they want to believe it or not, it needs to be said so the ones that want to let go of their religion can. Not saying any of you will even read or care about this.

The more your thoughts into your identity, the more you cut yourself off from the spiritual dimension within yourself.. Many"religious" people today are stuck at that level. Now with this new conciousness on the rise people all over are letting go of their religion and realizing that how spiritual you are has nothing to do with a set of beliefs, but everything to do with your state of consciousness. @chaosrokkfreak now but also a hardening of the ego. Some religious groups will be open to the new conciousness but others will intensify their positions and identify with all the structures from which the collective ego thrive on. Fortunately for us new thinkers the ego is destined to dissolve, so really no matter what you do truth will reveal itself and shatter any other version of it with ease. There is a lot more to this my friend then belief, and just having it this way or that way.
