Alexei got way easier for some reason. The first time you fight him he's harder than he is now. I died at least five times on him during the first time and went without dying on to him on this chapter.

I frickin' hate Alexei in Chapter 4, but I find him a lot easier here, mainly because you have the Dual Katanas with the 360T. Abusing I-frames is awesome :D

@Kl1n3 Which is why I wonder why you're using the Lunar here. Sure, it's probably more useful than The True Dragon Sword... But just like the TDS, the Lunar can't abuse I-frames at will, unlike the Blade of the Archfiend.

Oh, and about Zedonius' fireballs, I've actually seen in other vids that you can use a Flying Swallow to interrupt him. Very useful if you run out of ninpo there^^

@xtrem3rd True, I (and I have no idea why) never really got into the Dual Swords or the Kurisama-Gama (misspell i'm sure). I've seen/heard that those two are the easiest weapons to dominate enemies with. Pretty sure I'll start practicing w/them before NG3 hits. But as of now, I've tried to master the TDS, Lunar, Falcon Talons.

@Kl1n3 Meh, my favourite weapons are the True Dragon Sword, Blade of the Archfiend and the Eclipse Scythe. I never really use the other weapons, except for special occasions where they are really useful. Up until now though, I managed to dominate pretty much all enemies with the Dragon Sword, so I don't see why I should use any other weapon^^

And yes, you did misspell it. It's spelled Kusari-Gama.

@xtrem3rd rly? wen i fot the 1 in chapter 4,i smoked him dead, less than a minuite, BAM dead D-E-D dead, and i hardly lost any health. in this 1 i fought him, i killed him on the first try, but i was half way down my health bar, and it took me like 1 min and 30 someodd seconds.

@nairad100 Meh, everyone has their own problems. For example, pretty much everyone I talk to about this game hates Fiend Genshin, but I find him one of the most fun and challenging bosses ever.

@xtrem3rd i love that boss, so much! but i have mixed feelings about elizibet fight 2, she made me so mad, but i got her on the second try, BTW, i was on warrior, and had no healing, and im 10 only, So this is pretty much the hardest game ive played... oh and i didnt play sigma, im talking about ninja gaiden 2, not sigma 2, so its even harder, throughout the game im like OMG!!!

@xtrem3rd i don't hate her, shes just too difficult, to be right after genshin ya know? there are only 3 bosses in this game i truly hate, 1: chapter 2 genshin MN OMG i had no heailing whatsoever!!! it was terrible!!!

2: chapter 12 Zedonius, MN i had NO healing and NO ninpo, and the bombs afterwards killed me twice!!!

3: arch fiend, 1st form: HATED THIS BOSS, loved the 1 after him, but this 1, i had no healing, and i got pwned by him, then i got to archfiend no 2, no healing, and loved it! woo

@nairad100 Proves that everyone has their own "Hate Boss". The ones I really dislike are 1. Elizebet for having instant grabs and dodging like Psycho Mantis, except that you can't switch controller ports 2. That stupid drunken dino skeleton, because I never found out how to dodge that thing's attacks 3. that fire armadillo or whatever that's supposed to be and 4. DAGRA MOTHERFUCKING DAI for being a complete lightning spammage asshole. My thumbs are always sore after that guy.

I do not. Have a couple of tips though.

1. Use the camera to get one off screen and not attacking.

2. Take your time and attack after you've dodged one of there attacks.

3. Learn the audio/visual cues for the grabs they do.

4. Dodge, Attack, Dodge, Attack. Keep it methodical...dodge then attack them. Try not to get greedy w/the attacks or they'll mess you up.

What is the combo that you do with the lunar all the time? It seems very effective on the bosses.

Nowadays I'm struggling to beat the game on mentor to get the armor outfit... :-)

The lunar combo is XXY or Square, Square, Triangle. Best advice I can give is "Practice". Know its not simple/ez. Just need to learn each weapon and what works best on each enemy/area. Also, Invincible frames (what gives them & when its best/how to use them). Hope that helps. Good Luck with mentor.

Today I went stuck on the peak of mount Fuji. Genshin plastered me like there is no tomorrow. He continuously did Izuna drops to me and it seemed I couldn't block it.

I've watched your vid against him in chapter 14 and you can do Izuna drops to him with the lunar?!? That's really interesting man. Is it just like the gameplay buttons: square, triangle followed by 2 times square with a finishing touch triangle?

I dit it finally! Stood up at 8 am and beat the game today in mentor. I got the armor outfit and unlocked MN mode!!!

I have till March to beat the game for last time in MN, because as of 20th March I will be playing the new God Of War 3.

And is it just me or is this battle kinda... cooler in NG2? The environment feels a lot more alive. Here it's like.. too dark. Love this battle in NG2.
