Pittsburgh plays in the league's toughest division, and it has gotten even stronger. They face adversity all the time.

Once they both hit stride I agree with you. I think that OV is faster, but Crosby's acceleration is just unbelievable. It's hard to say who is better because they both play a different kind of game, and they have both been incredibly successful.
You have quite the argument. That kind of crap was within his first two seasons when yes, he did tend to dive. However, he has gotten over that phase, and you need to accept that. Oh, and at least Crosby has won a playoff series.
Starting as of last season, he doesn't complain at all. He keeps his mouth shut and doesn't complain about missed calls. Maybe he will sometimes have conversations with the refs, but that doesn't mean he is still crying.

Rick Nash with his absolutely ridicoulus goal when he split the defense with about 4 moves, Ovechkin on his back with one hand, and this goal by Crosby. IDK if its just because the Coyotes suck (which they do) or if its only bad luck/

overall crosby is more skilled and reads the game better but ovechkin is a very spectacular player. he seems to enjoy playing the game and he is physically more advantaged than crosby. crosby is more on the jackarses side and he should stick to be the play maker and not the pens tough guy and my sole criticism to ovechkin is that he should practice his aim...but both will not last in the nhl because they are jackarses

Once they both hit stride I agree with you. I think that OV is faster, but Crosby's acceleration is just unbelievable. It's hard to say who is better because they both play a different kind of game, and they have both been incredibly successful.

Starting as of last season, he doesn't complain at all. He keeps his mouth shut and doesn't complain about missed calls. Maybe he will sometimes have conversations with the refs, but that doesn't mean he is still crying.

That's what I'm trying to say. I'm glad someone here actually realizes that he is standing up for his teammates much more than himself. He isn't going to argue good calls like he used to in his rookie year, but he'll talk about the weak ones with the officials to see how that was a penalty. It's good to know someone else here knows what they're talking about in regards to this topic.

Crosby is a better team leader than OV, and that's why he sports a C, and why OV is just an alternate captain. However, it has absolutely nothing to do with skill, if the organization knows how to pick a captain. Dave Andreychuk, if you remember, captained the Lightning during their Stanley Cup season. Not because he was still able to put up numbers (he had 39 points in 82 games), but because of his superb leadership qualities. That's why Sid is the captain of the Pens. (he can score too.)

I was at this game! I am a Pitt native living in Phx. I had a perfect view of it. By the way there were almost as many Pens fans at the game as Coyote fans. Nobody here gives a shit about hockey. Please move them back to Winnipeg
