  • Yours video so intresting =)

  • nice

  • Nice bit of ingenuity. Enjoy your videos.

    Regards,

    Alan

  • Good vid BTW I love learning from u

  • Wow.. u did that the hard way. Did u break the track pin or did it just slip off. I got a case 1150b that has a bad seal somewhere and the track always comes off. I got it to the point now where I can use a comalong and a bar and pop it on while I let it idle forward

  • lincoln has a battery operated grease guy that is just way slick for greasing equipment when you have a bunch of lubrication points.

  • Thats just a pain... I had to put the track back on my small TB25 (Rubber tracks) and it was just as much fun. B-(

  • Next time this happens take the track of completely and put the sprocket on first. Then use your bucket to push you track underneath your bottom rollers, then the uppers. Put the idler roller on last by putting the heel of the bucket on the ground with the teeth against the track, raise the machine with the boom and hold against the rail. Then travel the track and it will roll right on. I can usually put a track back on in less than 10min(except grease of course), with just the excavator.

  • @milder00 LINCOLN 18V battery grease gun comes in VERY handy!

  • love it Cody

great to see you workin w/your family and your Pops

    best regards

    gunge

  • did you take a video down?

  • Great video! You just keep right on going Cody! It will be done before you know!

  • Cool!

  • I work in a 3 main logging crew in New Zealand and that happens once or twice a week. Pumping the idler back up is a bitch. Sometimes it's back on in 10 minutes, sometimes 2hrs.

    Cool vids

  • Dear Cody.... wow... sooooo much work. I'm definitely not opposed to hard work IF there's something to be gained from it. Do you think all this hard work is worth it? Couldn't you have found a property that'd not so remote and in the middle of nowhere and so completely inaccessible? I don't know... I hate to see you go though all these trials and tribulations for nothing.

  • Uuuuuuh Oooooh!

  • Boys and their toys. Gotta love it. Never too old to play in the dirt. Git er done!

  • Great job! I'm not a big machinery guy, I can run a skidloader like you wouldn't believe but nothing else. I would have thought the piston on the idler wheel would have had a hydraulic pump to push it in and out.

  • im jealous... i want a excavator and a dozer...

  • Great vid! Keep 'em coming!

  • 3 generations for a grease gun nice! Great video.

  • nice... so it's kind of a bycicle xD

great work cody... please keep uploading this awesome videos !

  • Hard work, but I envy you sir. God Bless!

  • Incredible. I'm sure a 6min vid does not even do this challenge any justice. ;)

  • And I thought changing a flat was ruff...

  • Rock on Cody. I love these videos, thanks for sharing.

  • When there is will, there is a way to creativity. Rock on!

  • better to add grease to idler adjuster when track is sitting on ground. I've thrown track twice on my cat 307, about same size as your machine . used a prybar and son running peddles. nice job though.

  • @nhprepper cat 307 is 5 tons lighter than a 120 hitachi......

  • Nice work...always like stopping by to see what's going on.

  • you live a blessed life sir!

  • glad it happened now than in the winter

  • Good job cody.

  • This is a wonderful series of videos...real and captivating! I wish you and your beautiful young family the greatest rewards and happiness from this fascinating adventure.

  • nice work Cody, it's always a struggle when the track is off on sprocket end. Wish I had a funny anecdote for a story but all the stories I have involving thrown tracks aren't that funny anyway. I'm glad you made a good video.

  • Well you got her done. Neighbour down the road had the track come off his excavator, some how the idler came out and rolled down the hill. I know it shouldn't be funny but it was. Just think there are many equipment owners that are unable to fix their own excavating equipment. How can anybody be like that I know I can't.

  • Great job, persistence and ingenuity wins the day.

  • Why I'm glad I was never a Tanker or Mechanized.

  • Good job Kody! That's great that your dad(? I think that's what Mrs. Wranglerstar said) was there to help out also

  • Your the man, Cody! Nicely done.

  • Good job Cody, man I feel your pain with that job I've been in those shoes once too many times, it sure is nice to have help in times of need. Thanks for sharing

  • Wow that was quite a snap when it got aligned. Glad you fixed it.

  • go on snapon

  • Never fun when you throw a track....

Good job getting it back on.

  • Adapt and overcome. Nice job Cody!

  • Nice work.

  • @wranglerstar LOL
