  • Thanks for the tutorial! ..very helpful!

  • Hey, thanks so much.

  • Thanks much !

  • Thanks for the reference bro.

  • Hey so I just got the '11 burton love and Im using older burton custom bindings but I got the retro channel conversion disks but for some reason the new channel hardware (the 2 little sliders for each binding) dont really fit well with the retro channel disks.. I compared the little sliders with my friends older est burton board and theyre a bit different. Mine dont look like yours, mine are black and a bit more rectangular

  • @creasian444 any thoughts? was gonna call burton in the morning about this but wanted to see if u had any advice

  • I want a custom but fuck ics, better get a ride zerker or some shit.

  • will the adapter thing work on union bindings?

  • @cxf95 its supposed to work on all companies bindings. but ive heard the opposite from ppl using them on bindings other than burton.

  • wait i'm really confused on how to get a free conversion kit?

  • just got my new board. its the Burton whammy bar 2011. for doing 'stupid' ground tircks, would you suggest putting the bindings in the center? thanks.

  • @garrl007 depends what your want to do. probably putting them on the ref line would be best if youre going to mess around and do tricks to balance the board.

  • @nukem384 Awesome thanks dude. :) great vid by the way. :)

  • burton was on crack when they invented this bindings system, fucking stupid.

  • those arent dumb tricks!

  • @Yomyoayotyot haha, it was a sarcastic comment

  • so no one has gotten shaking or looseness from just the two screws on the retro disc? im thinking of buying this setup, burton board with ics and custom detox bindings 3d, just wanna make sure they'll preform right :/

  • @kody6921 my triad 3d bindings work fine on this setup. if you're buying new bindings, might as well spend a little more and get est bindings, they will give you a lot more adjustability

  • Does any one know if these work with the flow brand of bindings?

  • i got a hero 152 about 2 months ago, it was an early christmas gift from my parents so i wasnt aloud to use it until now. i opened up my conversion kit to put my cartels (08 or 09 i forget) and the bolt things that go into the channel are like 2 or 3 mm too wide. this happen to anyone else? i'm bummed cuz we just got dumped on and i have to use my 4 year old 145 punch that hasn't been tuned in like 3 seasons lol.

  • @jweezy1169 Yea dude had the same issue with the Cartels on my new Whammy Bar Marley - the new channel attachments are too big for the 3 hole discs... If you go back to where your folks got you the board they should give you the retro discs.

  • @jweezy1169 Hey man, I don't really understand your problem. I'm going to buy an ICS board but I wanna keep my Burton 2009 cartels, will I have any problem ?

    Thanks for your help !

  • @deadnremain

no you will be fine, the people at the store gave me the wrong conversion kit. i got the whole thing worked out.

  • @jweezy1169 Orraight cool. Thanks for your reply. And also, I'm buying the board on ebay and am not sure if the seller has the conversion kit with the board even though it's new. Is it really free if I just mail Burton asking for a pair ? Thanks !

  • Your the man! Thanks for posting this video, well explained. Btw I have the Hero as well, enjoy your riding this season dude

  • Exactly what I needed to know. Thanks for dropping the knowledge.

  • retro bindings only work well with forum and union bindings most other brands they will not fit or wobble and move around

  • Well I tried them on my ride lx bindings and my solomons...any sugestions

  • @BURTONBOARDER70 hmm...well burton bindings would be the best suggestion. ive heard other companies are starting to make conversion disks for these ics boards. maybe a 3rd party company makes a more compatible disk for your bindings?

  • @nukem384 if my bindings are 3d compatible but not burton will the kit still work

  • @wake123soccer123 they should work. but ive heard from people that its not always the case or the bindings are loose because they aren't burton

  • I got the hero ltd in a 155 just wondering I have a pair of Solomon force bindings and the retro discs kinda wobble and stick up in the base plates is this normal or do I need Burton bindings???

  • @BURTONBOARDER70 they shouldnt be wobbling or sticking up. sounds like your bindings arent quite compatible with the retro disks even though burton claims they are universal.

  • what kinda stomp pad is that

  • @Kingmopete42 they are Dakine pyramids. they come in packs of 3 and 9. i made the design myself. i believe other companies make pyramids as well.

  • @nukem384 thanks i bought the burton hero 149 and i don't want to cover the sign saying it is a burton hero

  • awesome! have a good time! wish i could go tomorrow.

  • I have the same bindings as you, and just bought a new x8 at a great price. Can't wait to try it out on the slopes tomorrow!

    Nice video.

  • Thanks for the vid.
