Equiptment operators crack me up. Each one thinks they know it all and the others are stupid. When an operator shows up on the job site and the first words out of his mouth are i can run anything, then i know in an hour he will most likely be down the road, never fails. For some reason they have egos bigger then the equiptment and it ends up making them look foolish when they cant do what they say they can. Ive been on job sites for 22 years so ive seen enough of them to know.

No i'm a pipe layer leadman. Ive worked in pipeline for 22 years. Ive seen some great operators who I had complete faith in that could do the job safely and smoothly. But there have been so many that thought they could bullshit there way onto the job out of the hall, but when it came time to pull the levers and do what they bragged they could do , it didnt happen. I'd say getting the weight off the tracks would be the better solution. Bring the buck in closer and push down with the flat of the bucket, once it starts lifting the front drive forward slow while ""pushing" the bucket down "towards" the machine to help give the tracks a chance to get out of the hole it already is in. Otherwise, its MEXICO! Wait a week it'll dry RIGHT up then dig out haha.

Only in a truck if i need to move it haha. This mud is nothing compared to the work we do at kohler. They have some sort of process for getting the clay mold crap out of contaminated water and its the consistency of chocolate pudding. I had a D8 well over the tracks for several weeks pushing that crap to our 375 hoe. Some of the mud was over 8 ft deep. Unless someone pulls you out theres no going home if you get stuck, you would sink to the bottom on foot.. yikes
