  • Where can i buy these attachments???

  • this was an awsome video. it makes me realize that i need to be more careful with myself. I always push myself over the limit when it comes to sports. After watching these people i am now inspired to help other athletes to be cautious about taking things to the extreme.

  • jajajajajaja this is the funniest shit ever!!!!!

  • this thing is awesome it changed my sister's life, shes been a complete c2 vent dependent quad since 2004 from a gymnastics accident. and to be able to do a sport and set goals again is such a blessing- awesome.

  • Are there any safety concerns related to being ventilator dependent and going to different events such as bowling?

  • One of the who founded the Quad Squad is on a vent, but they tend to have 24-hour nursing care; this is the case with an acquaintance of mine who lives in Minneapolis, MN (she also has a tongue-controlled chair like 'Bob' below). They need to have people around them in case anything goes wrong with the vent or with their breathing. So they'd be accompanied.

  • @IndigoJo like bob's below

    Who is Bob

  • @wheelslarbac bob is "bob6780p" - see the "Highest Rated Comments".

  • @IndigoJo thank you

  • i am a c1 quad and i have used one of these with my tongue controlled chair they r awesome

  • It is so awesome to see someone is making stuff like this. Power wheelchair bowling; who would have thought... Looks like great fun. Maybe someday my daughter will be able to use something like this.

  • you have 9 daughters???

  • Yes, I really have 9 daughters; only 3 left at home. The last 2 have cerebral palsy.

  • Sorry, I didn't know. Good luck you all!!

  • if you dont care then dont comment some people arent as blessed as all of us to be able to do even the simplest tasks!

  • How do they get the ball on the ramp?

  • someone does it for them duh!

  • Someone has to put the ball on the ramp. The ball rolls off when the wheelchair stops, so there is some skill in positioning and stopping the chair.

  • imagine, the money you would save on bowling

    shoes=]

  • cool video! Do they have anything like that for manual chairs

  • Comment removed

  • @rybread6 Folks in manual wheelchairs don't

need this we can bowl the normal way.

LOOK at this video on you tube to see we don't

need this. Only Quads need this in power

    wheelchairs.

    "" Wheelchair Bowling"" youtube manual

    chair normal bowling

  • @wheelslarbac you mean the video of the woman bowling from a manual chair? She is actually a quad, a C6 complete (and blind). But she has enough arm function to bowl manually.

  • @IndigoJo No I did not I was talking of 2 males in

    manual wheelchairs 'Wheelchair Bowling'

a0r0t0e0 , I did find the blind lady

    'WildKat Wheelchair Bowling' WildKatSpeaking

after reading you note to me.

I did not know a quad could use a manual

wheelchair, I thought they had to be pushed or

use a power wheelchair like these guys have.

  • cool video

  • Great for wheelchair users to play. Is it a game in Para-Olympic? Can you give the detail for wheelchair bowling? Because no one knows that in Hong Kong. And HK wheelchair user not enough sport games for spinal cord injury people

  • Thanks for the kind words! I'm the guy with the Blue ball bowling in the video. For commentary, checkout the message "Two Videos & a Slideshow on Power Wheelchair Bowling!" on the message board on our website: "IKAN Bowler dot com" (YouTube doesn't allow links).

  • Richard,

Thanks for your comments! The Mounts that we use for bowling, also work with our power football/soccer guard -- and we think our Mounts are the best available anywhere -- they help reinforce the legrests. See my additional comments below for more info and feel free to contact us/me!

I went to this website to learn more and read all about this power wheelchair, its pretty incredibel, check out their site, this company definitely understands the need for those who are affected by these types of disabilities.

  • This is absolutely wonderful for people living with cerebral palsy or muscular distrophy!
