  • This is the first time I've heard this song! Love it! And if you listen carefully, it's the same tune as "I'll Always Love You" from the Muppets Take Manhattan slowed down, which works for me...love that song too!

  • The lead singer needs some singing lessons

  • @JDWolfman12271 It's sounds more like Kevin than Jerry

  • @muppetlover16 Who's Kevin?

  • @JDWolfman12271 Kevin Clash and "Jerry Nelson"

  • @muppetlover16 oh, I see.

  • They should sing this at a wedding!

  • This Will be My Entrance Song!

  • i downloaded it!

  • can i have mp3 for this song

  • Muppet Wiki says that one of the Monotones on this recording is Thad Mumford, who also did Dr. Thad.

  • I know this comment was from 6 months ago, but are you sure of that? Because I couldn't find anything about that in the history of the article.

  • Oh, nevermind; I read the article for Thad Mumford and it said that... though I wonder why they would use a totally different performer for this song, considering the members pretty much already had primary performers by the time this was made.

  • Oh, Thad Mumford performed one of the Monotones? I didn't know that until I saw the article for this song.

Maybe he was performing Chrissy? That's just my guess.

  • I can already hear Cerf's voice in this song, so it's hands down Richard.

  • Oh, okay, never mind then.

Hold on! "Four" was recorded in 1977, and that's where we heard Richie's true voice, so now why is Thad performing him?

  • Well... technically, Richard's voice is also heard in "A Body Full Of Rythym" and "Telephone Rock solo (just with Chrissy singing his lines).

As for Thad performing Richard... well, Everbody's Record only credits him as one of the performers, but I'd have to mute out the other voices to hear it more clearly.

  • Bringing this convo back up, I listened more carefully and I can definetly hear Thad's voice. I admit, when I first heard this song, I did think one of the Monotones sounded a little different, but I just assumed it was still the same performers anyway till I saw Thad's article.

  • cool!

  • aww how sweet!! Little Jerry sings this so mellow. <3 :']

  • I know! It's like he's singing to you! **swoons**

I want him to serenade me. With a guitar.

  • aww...♥ [: I know. Little Jerry is like the offical Sesame Street Heartthrob. lol :D

  • You are so right! :-)

  • awesome job man

  • this is cool. This is better than when Missy Piggy sings to Kermit on The Muppets take over Manhattan.

  • I first heard this on EveryBody's Record (the version I had was a cassete called EveryBody's Cassete. I haven't heard it in years. Hopefully, someone like bigbirdfan will convert the record to mp3 tracks and put it up on the Internet one day.

  • Nice song!
