  • Look at all the Baby chicks... So Cute!!

  • asian sex good.. learn from dirty jobs!

  • lol unatural diet lol. i like meat but you can live without eating meat you can't live long eating only meat. i do agree with you vegetarians need to tone it down.

  • Looks a bit like culling the koi carp in Japan, probably thats why there are only japanese there... there eye of detail...

  • Chick sexer sounds so wrong lol...

  • "The sound of chicks being sexed!"

  • I'll avoid the whole "animals have human feelings" topic but I'd like to point out that most living vertebrates are very flexible while young. They have to be if they're to survive being born. I've seen young animals attacked by predators a few times, being soft allowed them to live through a mauling long enough for rescue. I've also been astounded at what my own kids get through without breaking half their bones. The old fella is not harming those chicks, he is just scary big to them.

  • if it doesnt hurt them by holding them by the wing why are they squealing in terror

  • poor things they hold them by the wing and throw them......horrible i love my chicks and i NEVER EVER NEVER do that

  • I saw this episode on TV once and I had to stop watching after about a minute, because I was getting really really pissed off. There is no need of picking up a chick by its fragile little wing and THROWING IT. You wouldn't pick up a human baby by its arm or heave it across the room, would you? A chick could dislocate its shoulder or get injured just as easily as an infant could. It doesn't matter if its a chick or a human, it can still feel pain.

  • I've had chickens all my life. This explains why there are soo many hurt baby chicks in the stores :( I think they could be a little more careful, baby chicks are pretty fragile.

  • @Shareallicu3 The industry grinds alive or suffocates millions of unwanted male baby chicks a year. More careful? Why should they... These males cost a quarter of a penny... They are totally "worthless" - Used for nothing but "feed' for other enslaved animals.

  • @beaelliott Worthless in the eyes of big business does NOT make them worthless. People would much rather have their dinner treated right, and taken care of so the animal is at its peak health when its head is cut off... so why not treat them kindly up until its head is chopped off? it just makes sense imo :)

  • @Shareallicu3 As I've heard many people say... "What difference does it make how we treat them... We're going to kill them anyway". There is a disconnect with people and the "food" they choose to consume. Treating them "kindly" or "humanely" does not say to kill them for UNNECESSARY ends. It is NOT necessary to consume flesh, milk or eggs. Increasingly millions are opting for this healthier & more compassionate plant based alternative. Want to be kind? Start with your plate. ;)

  • @nerimonnerimon It's not "all of a sudden" - The thing is we are evolving to include all sentient beings without our circle of compassion and concern. We cannot live without killing bacteria. We CAN live and certainly thrive without killing chickens! ;)

  • ok, never usin mcmurray again

  • I have chickens. my rooster always sexes the 3 girls XD. only one got pregnant and she had eggs. we took some and left her three cuz apparently they're bad at counting or something. That's what my uncle said. Hopefully the chicks will hatch cuz the mom is always sitting on them. I want chicks! T.T

  • @princejeff

Chickens do not get pregnant, and they always lay eggs, even when the eggs are not fertilized by a rooster.

  • @princejeff chickens don't get pregnant. If the rooster sexes them, they ALL have fertile eggs. ;)

  • The "dirty secret" is most of the times in large industrial "egg" factories - The males are macerated shortly after being sexed. They are "worthless" to the industry... Good thing is we don't "need" eggs to thrive on a plant based diet. What a horrible practice to kill just because of being the "wrong" sex.

  • @beaelliott The dirtier secret is that after the male chicks are ground into powder, they're used as.... chicken feed!

  • @beaelliott

There's no such thing as a "plant based diet" for humans.

Nearly all of the human race would starve, not to mention we'd immediately be overfarming the land until it was dead.

  • @HotnessTim Ummm - plant based diet meaning in the "civilized world" - So if you're a bushman or an Inuit - this does not apply. Now - about "over farming": You do realize that over 75% of all grain, soy & corn grown in the US and most other countries is fed to "livestock" right? It is much more efficient to feed humans FIRST. To cut out the "middle eater" as it were.We could feed a billion more people on this planet-right now - if we stopped fattening animals.Next bad reason to eat animals?

  • @beaelliott

Go ahead and eat nothing but corn for the rest of your life. Enjoy dying with no proteins and amino acids.

In the "civilized world" billions of people would die if it wasn't for eating meat. Cows and goats (which we eat) can turn grass into food. Humans can't and they starve to death.

Not to mention that a huge percentage of the world is sustained entirely because of fishing.

It costs more to survive on an unnatural vegetarian diet than on the normal diet, people aren't all rich

  • @HotnessTim Oh I eat a lot more than corn sir... Probably twice the variety of fruits and vegetables(on a budget) than you do.My health is great even after 8 years "without".

In THIS civilized world we aren't dying from a lack or shortage... In fact, we are dying from "excess". 75% of the grains harvested go to fatten animals first - Huge waste of resources.

Almost 50% of all fish are fed to livestock - It actually is making indigenous people that rely on fish for substainance to starve.

  • @HotnessTim Nothing but corn? No protein? Surely you're kidding? In the "civilized" world 99% of all "meat" comes from industrial sources-Meaning these animals are "fattened" on corn and soy at a ratio of 6 pounds of grain for 1 lb of flesh- That's why 1 billion people are starving every year!

45% of all fishes caught either go to "livestock feed" Or to feed other "farm raised" fishes.

Beans, grains, nuts are very cheap in comparison- All your arguments fail miserably!

  • @HotnessTim My diet hardly consists of any "corn" or "soy" at all! Is that all the food you think is out there? And meat?Certainly you realize that 99% of all the animals grown for "food" are the ones eating corn and soy & NOT grass!Furthermore, our oceans are dying because of over-consumption of sea life. 45% of that going also to fatten "livestock".Beans, legumes, seeds, nuts, vegetables & fruits are not expensive for what you get. Cut out the subsidies to meat/dairy/eggs & see what it costs!

  • @beaelliott funny thing is this is not an egg industry and it is just to send to local peoples who luvs chicken

  • @dededoi Do these people "luv" chickens? OR their dead flesh?

  • @beaelliott depends on that person, personally i raise them for their eggs

  • @dededoi So after you use them for egg laying - What happens when they no longer make eggs? Do you still feed them and treat them like "pets"?

  • @beaelliott depends on if u like the hen, me however i don't eat my birds unless on a special occasion

  • @dededoi Is that a "special occasion" for you or the bird? I have special days when I share watermelons or strawberries with the ones that live with me... They also love their own eggs - hard boiled! :)

  • @beaelliott y r u judging me like i'm a monster because i'm not you, yes i cook some on holidays or when my cousins come out of the country to visit, sorry but we all can't be like u and have chickens sleep on our beds and stuff, it is not like i have a massacre everyday

  • @beaelliott How could anyone not treat non-laying chickens like pets? Chickens are the best pets! They give eggs and companionship (they can be very social toward nice humans) and even when they don't lay as many eggs, they are still just as friendly and social. I would love them as pets if they never laid one egg!

  • @Shareallicu3 Love them if they never laid one egg... You're a kind person Shareallicu3 - Respect and peace sent to you. <3

  • @beaelliott Well i think most poeple would treat chickens better if they were raised with them like I was. They are very social and like humans. I have a rooster and 12 hens who follow me around the yard to see what i'm doing. Charlie (the rooster) thinks he is a puppy. He likes to hang out with me as I garden :) Their amazing creatures

  • @Shareallicu3 Yes, they are amazing! Their social structure is complex... They have over 30 calls that indicate a threat. They can recognize up to 100 other birds in the flock... And well, they simply are beautiful! I never realized that chickens liked to be held or petted until I met them in person. Very affectionate with soft cooing and purrs... Terrible how we brutalize them so thoughtlessly. :(

  • @Shareallicu3 They're pretty fucking dumb.

  • @beaelliott kind of like how women in america are treated like shit.

  • @beaelliott there fattened and ate

  • @beaelliott actually the males are the ones on your table at dinner.. they get their heads chopped off and eaten, and the females are enslaved as egg layers their whole laying life...then killed

  • @Shareallicu3 Hi --- I think if you research just a bit you'll see that the most of the males are destroyed soon after hatching. As you know, their body structure is not bred to be a "meat bird" - They'd be far to puny for the egg industry to make any profit from... See Mercy for Animals Hatchery of Horrors. Poor little peeps. :(

  • I have worked in a hatchery, and you HAVE to toss them. Those are squeaks of joy :)

    Chickens are awesome!

  • they wont hurt.. they are babys.. and if ur working there, do you wanna waste ur time and slowly petting or puting down the chick and slowly looking at its butt or wings? you get fired in 1 day!people are doing 20k in a day and if your there you might just be doing less then 500..

  • hey would you want the poo to hit you first or the pot?

  • i agree with you. i'd like to do the same with him..

  • he is soo rough on them! poor chicks. i'd kick that old man in the teeth.

  • Do you even raise chickens if not shutup
