  • jesus that thing is terrifying!

  • That thing is more useful and easier to use than almost every purchased unit I've ever seen. They hyd. follower block arm was brilliant

  • This sh*t turns me on.

  • fuck mate dont put yer finger in it lol

  • Been trying to make a square and rectangle tube bender, like 1”X1”

, 2”x2”. 2X3”, 1”X2”, being you cannot even buy one, but still have some bugs to work out

  • You are awesome!

  • Brilliant.

  • No I'm sorry I was cringeing with fear that he was going to crush a finger or something.

  • pretty good, man!!!...

  • Great work man..way to use the noodle!

  • 44 sec only !?!?!

don't be so cheap, show us more please.

  • Badass!

  • gongratz on the bender , but as 99% of the benders i have seen , this has a special die that is nearly inpossible to make DIY, the rest of that is easy...

  • Borrow from family, lie to the credit union....do anything you can to purchase a decent lathe and milling table. Life is too short to be held back from building things that eclipse the cost of some basic machining equipment. My first pipe bender was turned on a drill press and cut with an angle grinder. Lot's of work, but anything is within the ability of anyone who looks for solutions, and powers through the persistent misgivings of failure.

  • @miksmiks I think no matter how sophisticated or crude the apparatus is, if it is useful and performs the task, who cares if it looks like a kludge from a Ford Fiesta hub? Some situations call for appropriate equipment...When I was messing around with bicycle frames made of Chromolybdenum or Tungsten tubing, I had to fill the thin walled material with sand as I did not have a true mandrel made of spheres and cable. I also opted to master the TIG process for these types of projects.

  • @FJoeForty

nice i have built a projekt myself, a costum buggy with a costum frame, im about 17 years old now and this buggy was a perfekt projekt to get to know car engines , and suspension and so on , so starding with extremely crude tools i learned to work well, now im a decent MIG welder( my welds NEWER break) (pm me if you are interested in the buggy)

  • all stars!!

  • That's a hospital appointment waiting to happen - keep your shorts zipped-up! lol

  • i liked it...

  • Very nice (you still have all your fingers as well )

  • sweet

  • Nice how much$?

  • Damn... skill bro

  • best homemade iv`e seen yet ,spot on

  • haha thats brilliant

  • lets see the finished product. that tube laying next to the bender had some wrinkles in it. Whats up with that? just kidding. good homemade bender.

  • very cool how you do it ?

  • @GodfatherMaxi

hydraulic ram and a tube bender.

  • Well fabricated!

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • oh man this is sweet!!!!

  • Pretty sweet, just looks like it needs a bit more POWER. I'd like to know what all you used in making this.

  • anything can be made if it is feasible

  • I need pipe binders for making custom exhaust pipes.

  • No one ever shows us the bend produced on these things.

How much does it flatten or "neck" the tube?

  • @AsTheNight There's an example in the foreground next to the bender.

  • do you have plans and or info how to make it? It would be nice to post them

  • Wow!, How do you do that?, do you have plans or Info & photos of construction.

and How much it costed, Thanks :D

  • Sweet! Well done!

  • Notice how he drives the die with the ram-unique.

  • brilliant,,,,,

  • very nice!

What are the recommended specs for the hyd power pack?

  • Would be nice to put a plate steel over the hydraulics to keep fingers out of the mechanism.

  • Real neat ... maybe stand it upright? Just curious, is that secondary block below the wheel moved into position by a separate ram? I see you make sure that one is up tight to the wheel before engaging.

  • total genius! I want one

  • can you give us any information, unimog?

  • know thats what you call hitting switches

  • HANDY GADGET! I have to build one of those when I have a spare moment. THANKS FOR POSTING THIS! I love this stuff

  • Wow I really like that setup. i'm planning on building a bender, I think I'll do it the same way you did, what was the total cost to build?.

  • why not use a mandrel?

  • i would also like to know where the dies came from so i could build one too.

  • u buy em find a manufacturer that sells hyadrulic pipe benders and just say u need dies and pins

  • Hossfeld Mfg.

  • Neat machine I especially like the counter die clamp, as for dies the bending die can be made with a manual lathe and a radius turning attachment. The counter die can be made with a milling machine and a ball end mill or a boring bar. I use plate burnouts as blanks for bending dies

  • @ValExperimenter To make the following block, it's easier to just drill a hole in a square block and then saw cut it in half. Much easier.

  • genius. i need one in my garage!

  • Hi, where did you get your bending die from.

    thanks

  • gostei das marteladas.

  • cool bender. id like to make one soon. what is the die made from?

  • that´s amazing man, i love it, i want to build my own bender toom i have all the materials, and two big metal discs to make the dies, i hope i can finish it in a few weeks, so i can put videos like you, nice work man, congrats.
