I have a friend who wrecked a rental car and was charged 25K on his credit card. You have to hide income and employer info or they'll sue to garnish wages. Lay low, quiet, until the statute of limitations runs out for them to sue, and you've beat the system.
please please please remember that the person on the other end of the phone is doing their job too. By yelling and cussing them out does not do anything at all. I am a know citi employees and they say it is tough because most times their hands are tired and they cannot do what they want.
As a actual rep for Citicards, I find this video shockingly close to home...granted it is a bit exagerated but nevertheless I found it gutbustinly funny. Its sad that people would think of us as callous and unsensitive, without realizing that it is not our decicion to implement the procedures parodied here.
I LOVE INDIA. And Indiana for that matter. I am not a fan of the business practices of credit card companies or banks. And the mess we are all in is never going to be able to sustain itself as it's not 'humane'. We're gonna need an UBER change, a true paradigm shift.
I agree, Rosemary. And on the flipside, Richey716, Indians should take more interest in the business their country takes on if they don't want blowback. Just like Americans need to be more involved here. Banks are ruining our lives because we lack knowledge and gumption.
My eldery mother made a payment to citi bank, minus $2.00 dollars ( she got confused ) and they jacked up her interest rates. Over a 2.00 mistake they wanted 100.00 dollars in extortion monies! Ba@tards. F U money changers!
I don't know what's funnier/ scarier/ truer...the content or the fact that all our private data/ information is going to an unsecured location where our laws are unenforceable and being data mined and identity-thefted out the window. Luckily, I guess, by the time Citi and others are done with us there is nothing left to be stolen by the third-world countries.
They used to have such reassuring accents. Now I can't understand what they're saying and all of their answers are wrong. As if we needed more frustration when calling customer service. Because we really have nothing better to do with all afternoon.
Thank you Citigroup, for using my tax dollars to export my job.
Please go bankrupt now.
Global economic collapse. I think the only people celebrating this are the communists and the Republicans (and, of course, bin Laden).
Even though it's not my (Canadian) tax dollars going to this bank, these banks are ridiculous... in general. They fuck up the world economy, creating a massive recession in the process, but won't give the average person a break. "Yes, we got billions and billions of dollars. But I do not know how that applies here"...indeed. 5/5
"...three hours after it was due..." too funny but also too close to reality. I have had my share of off shore service companies. You were almost too realistic. Great job Rosemary.
Another great one, Rosemary ! A very convincing Punjabi Call Center Princess, indeed. I finally lost my 'Indian telemarketing target' virginity the other day to some guy in Delhi doing a survey on smoke detector use...I'm finally a real woman.
Please keep making us laugh-we need it desperately !
Yah, I feel like this APR thing is meted out the way the death penalty is...some people get off and some don't. Depends on which judge you get, which state your trial is in etc...NOT FAIR at'all, now...is it?
This reminds me of Lily Tomlin's phone operator.!!!! hahah

Citi cards: the evil empire. We should have let them crumble in 2008.
How about sending your payment in via "Larry Flint" method: rolls of pennies.
Boycott Citi. Turn their ill gotten revenue stream into a dried up creek.

This is one of the funniest things I have ever seen!!!
Tell me the number of your home address....But do it backwards!!
Take those numbers, add them together, and divide by two... Go!!
Were you really on the phone with someone or what?
I am wondering what made you break and almost loose character by busting out laughing... :)
The best part is the way you look at the computer screen and look above your glasses; freakin' awesome!!
The computer will not allow it!!
