I love Jack Russells. I had a JR bitch called Foxy and she was the toughest little beast. In the coldest winter she'd be swimming in the local reservoir and shaking with cold, she would virtually vibrate across the ground when trying standing still. Then she'd pick up a stick and drop in the water and be off again. I couldn't stop her. Very affectionate and fun.

Got a new JRT 2 days ago, 8 weeks old ball of fun! Put my 15year old one down 2 months ago which broke my heart even when we know its in their best interest. Its us being selfish. I realise he should have gone maybe 3/4 months sooner. So Rizla is great, they love being trained and will love you forever. Just be sure you teach them YOURE the alpha.

I got my jrt from a breeder, because the jrt at the shelter has had an adoption application already done. My mom thinks we should get another one, but my dad says thats enough.

I found my dog in the street,because i live in south america there are so many dogs in the streets is so sad.She looks like a kanguroo, and acts like a jack russell haha. She is great im thinking to train her for agility because she is so energetic ..

Nothing is different. Jack Russell is just shortened. The full name is Jack Russell Terrier but most people say Jack Russell because it's easier. That's silly thinking they're different! Sillybilly! :)

i think that jack russels are always more enjoyable when they have a partner to play with. i have only one jrt and i love her crazy and energetic personality. but when my dads work and im at school, my mums too busy to give her any attention so she gets reely bored. so i asked my mum and she sed that it would be great to get her a partner, but when i asked dad, he just sed it was too much money !

Well both of mine are rescues...I am not interested in a pedigree I just want companions...you might consider that route because it's much cheaper and you are most likely saving a life too!
