I especially loved the voice of the lady doing the commentary. Her voice seems to wrap around you like a rug of the finest and softest fleece. You can talk to me all day and all night if you wish!
Did this same trip by myself one year ago in october, and i seriously have to say i was living my dream, it's just amazing the whole feeling throughout the whole trip, stayed in the observationcar alone at night, watching the stars, and just enjoying the feeling of being "free as a bird". Really wanna do it again, asap.
Thank you for posting this. My wife and I did the same trip a couple of years back (May 2005), but in the opposite direction. We also went Gold Leaf. Your video brought back the memories beautifully. It is indeed a spectacular journey; one I'll remember forever -- especially with videos like yours to remind me. Oh -- and I don't think the commentary is in the LEAST bit cheesy! Cheers, Bruce (Australia)

Yes, probably the best holiday I ever had. It seems a very long time ago now. I really enjoy the VIA part of the trip with all the people you meet.

I guess the commentry was done (in my opinion very well) by sinkplugger's good lady, not by Angela Rippon
