I just finished this anime a coupl days ago, and in my opinion, it fell short of expectation. Weak story(plot holes as well) and a weak set of character(the main character is such a fucking pansy). Horror/mystery theme was weak as well, overall, I'd give the anime series, a 5/10. But apparently the VN is better!

Most VNs that become anime aren't as good as the VN take for example FSN(great plot but the anime was too short)in contrast with Higurashi which turned out well specially Kai. Really looking forward to at least watching the anime for this VN

@sesestro I have heard it's fairly tame in terms of blood and violence... and I have also heard it sucks as an anime due to trying to tie together several conflicting story arcs from the original story into a whole and completely destroying the characters' personalities in the process.

The VN is supposed to be really good, but it hasn't been translated, so, unless you know Japanese, you're out of luck.

i enjoyed the anime but at the end I got left feeling...how do I put it......I mean there were only 13 episodes and all the proper action strted in epsidoe 4 and 5.

uhm yeah.... in January a sh*tload of animes started airing.... some of the titles im following are: -Baka To Test To Shoukanjuu -Dance in the vampire bund -Durarara -Hanamaru Youchien -Ladies Vs. Butlers! -Omamori Himari -Seikon No Qwaser -So Ra No Wo To these are ALL on their 6th or 7th episode as i write this comment. And those are just the ones i know... i dont know if i like this anime yet... its not as gory or mysterious as it is weird. It needs a GOOD plot twist in my opinion.
