  • Incredible, unfathomable, remarkable, & continued talent

  • When people ask me what sort of music I like, I tell them music that sounds like THIS.

  • is it weird if I just played this 27 times in a row??

  • best ever. thank you for existing at one point in time. may you come back. resurrect fugazi to redeem us all of the mindless $#it that they call music today.

  • F U G A Z I I S G O D.

  • Cool music.

  • how the fuck do you dislike this

  • Good evening ladies and gentleman, were Fugazi from Washington DC!

  • album cover @1:21

  • this band is so amazing

  • were can i get the audio for this awesome and EXTREMELY ADDICTING SONG?

  • @nyckelwound It's the last song on the INSTRUMENT soundtrack cd available from Dischord Records.

The visuals are from the rockumentary film.

The soundtrack cd has some alternate tracks than the movie, and some extended.

If you like this, try Fugazi's last CD, The Argument, as well.

  • Beautiful!!

  • @Duraan84 Fancy seeing your name here. My favorite Fugazi tune easily.

  • @punk91 You can't go wrong with any Fugazi song.

  • god I love this video so much.

  • has anyone got some guitar tab for this? I've nearly gone mental trying to get it right.

  • I LOVE FUGAZI!!! FUCK YEA

  • please get together and play live again.

  • Just the fucking best. God I love this instrumental

  • great film, great band, great music...

  • Nice slow version!

  • sometimes I get erect thinking about you

  • ha ha. 'shithouse'.

  • Joe's always got a great tone.

  • Excellent film

  • I love this movie.

Its a perfect representation of the band in their entirety. (Minus "the Argument" which came out after the movie :p)

  • hows the movie called?

  • instrument

  • good intro for a gig,isn´t it?

  • may the warrior poets keep on rockin.

  • the warrior poets of my generation. may their defiance and spirit continue to inspire. i would hope that a new generation will pick up the torch and continue to step across the boundries

  • It seems unlikely =[

  • Fugazi - we miss you.

  • Yeah this is the version on Instrument. Instrument and End Hits have some of the same songs but played differently.

Listen to Instrument and then End Hits. Its good listening and youll see what I mean.

  • This sounds like a slower version of the 'caustic acrostic' song on End Hits. Is it just me? Great song, however, and as it's always the case with Fugazi, well played.

  • hence SLO crostic!

  • Ok,you got me... I missed that...

  • This gives me goosebumps for some reason, it's incredibly beautiful. It reminds me of the outro to No. 13 Baby by the Pixies, it has a similar feel.

  • I'm great fan of them since 1986, my life turned on with their music, 2 doughters and son, still does. Know every song, yet Crostic reminds on roots, fantastic, sorry haven't met any of such music taste friends. have shaken hands of all Fugazi members in 1989. Who in the world can dream of such thing. Good luck.

  • Wow, 1986? So you were a great fan of them before they were even a band? That's pretty hardcore.

  • he said 89.

getting dates wrong to be a dick. that's pretty hardcore.

  • Read his whole comment. " I'm great fan of them since 1986."

Leaping before you look - TOTALLY hardcore.

  • Beautiful song, everything Fugazi makes is art in some sense.

  • does anyone know how to play the guitar parts for this? or a website that has the tabs? i cant find it anywhere online and i would love to cover this song.

  • that's why i find it beautiful : each riff could seem poor but the mixture of each instrument is amazing and original (as it can be heard with frusciante and flea of rhcp this last 10 years...)

  • q música foda!

  • You've gotta be kidding.

  • Sorry SupaChad69, though the song wouldn't be the same without the bassline. It's also the guitar the makes the song so unique :)

  • I was always wondering about the guitar in this song. It says something almost verbally.

I mean, there is a message behind the guitar part. Bass does it's thing beautifuly, too. But it's the guitar that makes the song so unique, agreed.

  • my favorite song in the world

  • Simply love the rampant sense of calm threat.

  • this song doesn't really call for complicated bass, the main point is the nice sounding guitar

  • I can't stop listening to this. Awesome instrumental.

  • love

  • INSTRUMENT is by far one of the best looks into DC music's finest band!

  • man this song is good, but the guy definitely does more complex bass lines on songs like turnover/break/waiting room

great band, in my top 10 for sure

  • isnt this Slo Crostic?

  • It is, actually. Thanks for pointing this out.

  • :-)

  • I never liked fugazi at first until I started listening to 13 songs. The more I hear and listen to new songs I haven't heard before they seem to get better. This is one of the best I think.

  • Any fan of fugazi needs to get this documentary.

  • nice.

  • Awesome film and a great band. Hope I get to see them again sometime.

  • Awesome bass riff...

  • yeah man, I love all the bass lines in Fugazi songs, thats cool that you noticed the bass like that.

  • I like this much more than the other version, slow and instrumental does this composition justice.

  • Jesus this is quality stuff here.

  • mmm love this song

  • I love this.

I thought the original was good.

    This is better.

  • oh my god... this is such an incredible version of this song. thankyou so much for posting it, i'm indebted.

  • Absolutely incredible. I saw this in Austin when Jem was running around promoting it. It was awesome then and is still awesome now.

  • build up and pull back!

  • this is the best video on Youtube

  • This versions actually called Slo Acrostic!!!

  • Fucked Up Got Ambushed Zipped In (Vietnam war acronym)

  • over an hour of just this song, seriously this and epic problem are the finest songs by Fugazi

  • the bass... the guitar riff... this song is really intense. Awesome.

  • Fugazi is the. Greatest. Band. Ever.

  • word.

  • wurd

  • pretty much, yeah.

  • whurde

  • Werd.
