best ever. thank you for existing at one point in time. may you come back. resurrect fugazi to redeem us all of the mindless $#it that they call music today.
the warrior poets of my generation. may their defiance and spirit continue to inspire. i would hope that a new generation will pick up the torch and continue to step across the boundries
This sounds like a slower version of the 'caustic acrostic' song on End Hits. Is it just me? Great song, however, and as it's always the case with Fugazi, well played.
I'm great fan of them since 1986, my life turned on with their music, 2 doughters and son, still does. Know every song, yet Crostic reminds on roots, fantastic, sorry haven't met any of such music taste friends. have shaken hands of all Fugazi members in 1989. Who in the world can dream of such thing. Good luck.
does anyone know how to play the guitar parts for this? or a website that has the tabs? i cant find it anywhere online and i would love to cover this song.
that's why i find it beautiful : each riff could seem poor but the mixture of each instrument is amazing and original (as it can be heard with frusciante and flea of rhcp this last 10 years...)
I never liked fugazi at first until I started listening to 13 songs. The more I hear and listen to new songs I haven't heard before they seem to get better. This is one of the best I think.
Incredible, unfathomable, remarkable, & continued talent

were can i get the audio for this awesome and EXTREMELY ADDICTING SONG?
nyckelwound 1 year ago 2
@nyckelwound It's the last song on the INSTRUMENT soundtrack cd available from Dischord Records.
The visuals are from the rockumentary film.
The soundtrack cd has some alternate tracks than the movie, and some extended.
If you like this, try Fugazi's last CD, The Argument, as well.

Yeah this is the version on Instrument. Instrument and End Hits have some of the same songs but played differently.
Listen to Instrument and then End Hits. Its good listening and youll see what I mean.

This gives me goosebumps for some reason, it's incredibly beautiful. It reminds me of the outro to No. 13 Baby by the Pixies, it has a similar feel.

Wow, 1986? So you were a great fan of them before they were even a band? That's pretty hardcore.

getting dates wrong to be a dick. that's pretty hardcore.

Sorry SupaChad69, though the song wouldn't be the same without the bassline. It's also the guitar the makes the song so unique :)
Xaveak 3 years ago
I was always wondering about the guitar in this song. It says something almost verbally.
I mean, there is a message behind the guitar part. Bass does it's thing beautifuly, too. But it's the guitar that makes the song so unique, agreed.
