For example, one could use a fire extiguisher. I'm a little surprised, and frankly more than a little concerned, that a firefighter wouldn't know that.
Maybe the 87 firefighters standing around could actually do something, such as fight a fire. They have 38 trucks full of water there, can't they spray some in that direction?
@TheQwerty4me if you look at the picture there is a power or phone pole with fire there hmm think about it water+electric= ELECTROCUTION and fyi I am a firefighter and that fire is tiny no immediate danger so let it go rather than risk crew

I live like 10 houses down the side road, i was takin a shower I heard a big bomb, i walked out there in my shower robe, and the cop was apparently chasing someone WITHOUT his sirens or lights on, flew up the hill a person turning out of woodland got hit, so its pretty much the sheriff's fault. This should be on G4's Epic Fail on Websoup.

Wow I guess pointing out that police are not required to use sirens when they have their lights on was the wrong thing to say even if it is true. the cop was also swerving around cars to get up the hill he was very reckless and didn't pay attention to the other drivers around him and the officer was out directing traffic after wards. the officer should not have been out there. there were aboout ten other offices that could have done it. he was involved with the accident and should have been waiting on the side just like the other driver
Who ever posted this didn't really know what happened. The cop did not have a siren on and he was doing over 70 up a blind hill. Where you cant see anyone till the last second and the cops in that area are always speeding down 160th and they don't think about people trying to cross the street.The person that was involved stop and didn't see anyone coming, started to go then saw the cop and stopped so that he could get by. The cop hit the front of the other car after he tried to go the other way.

Secondly, they don't need to turn the siren on to go above the speed limit, they can use lights only. See there is a little thing called concealment. I'm pretty sure a siren gives it away that the cops are coming. Understand?
Obviously with the multiple posting and your passion to judge the police it might be helpful to understand. COPS ARE NOT REQUIRED TO USE BOTH LIGHTS AND SIRENS. They can use ONLY LIGHTS for concealment purposes and cannot use ONLY SIRENS because if they encounter a person who is deaf the deaf person isnt aware that they are being pulled over.
@MEkanger read the postings by chadyi21. Im not the only resident that knows what the cops do around here. His lack of sirens caused a wreck almost cost him his life. I forgot to mention that the cop tried to blame the poor kid he hit but an eyewitness stood up for the guy and the cop was forced to let him go. I get the feeling your not from around here and you dont have all the details. Do more research before replying to youtube comments and you wont look so ignorant. have a good night
@VX2100DV obviously U were misinformed. I was there. The depruty came flying up a hill with a serious blind spot, The kid pulling out from the stop sign could not see him. U should show the entire intersection so people get the true perspective. THE COP DID NOT have his siren on. Due to the gas leak, he could shut nothing off incase of spark, thats why the lights r on, motor running & car still in gear .Wa. State law says they can not put the public in danger even in an emergency!
