Wow!!! Never seen a pole dance before. This is so beautifully done, and so in sympathy with the moving music. Then looked thru earlier posts referring to Felix Cane etc and watched her. The judges must have been a bunch of pot-smoking 14 year old school girls - the sort audience Felix dances to. But Oona would appeal to a more mature audience, like people who have actually turned at least 20! Best get some new judges if they can't see the beauty in what Olga has done here. Thank you Oona.
Ummm ok the finalists must have been inhuman because that was an amazing performance. I think I read that they didn't let Oona in because she didn't smile or something like that. But the music and performance weren't really the "smile" type! The music and performance have a melancholy sound and feel. Silly judges.
What I love the most about Oona is that her dance always seems as one big piece, in comparison to other dancers where you see the different moves. (As awesome as they can be). Oona is a true artist. Her routines just keep me captivated.
That was a much more difficult routine than the others I've seen. I'm greatly disappointed in the judges. Your straddle press to handstand alone would torment the best dancer, yet you glide it up with ease and grace. Oona, it was fantastic.
Okay that was without a doubt really intense, excellent performance, flow was perfect, technique was flawless, spot on synchronized with the music, great use of highs and lows in term of tempo. Completely blew my mind, that's some real talent right there! those judges made a huge mistake...

I havent seen any videos appart from this and Felix's, and the level is pretty similar, though I like this a little more; its more artistic, more beautiful. I love you oona. You have taken the art of pole dancing to another level. I get chills watching the seamless transitions between the different parts of your composition, and seemingly gravity defying moves. Almost like you have an ethereal pair of wings that aid you throughout your performance. BRAVO

Best performance I've ever seen. It's so moving and beautiful. The other pole dances I've seen don't display this level of artistry or deep expression. I love this so much.

Oona, you shouldn't consider this a performance wasted - you've given everyone an enormous gift of your art, a routine your fans can watch over and over! And from the comments here and conversations happening in real life, the consensus is clearly that you were hugely deserving of a win. You don't need a panel of judges to tell you that.
I have to say that this was my most favourite performance I have seen in the Worlds. You have excellent timing to music & your interpretation of it is spot on. I love that version of "Nothing Else Matters", I use the rock version!! You have such beauty & emotion, grace, strength & passion.... I have seen you perform live at The Pole Art 2009 & I was as blown away then as I am now.... this is most definately your best performance I have seen & I love to just keep watching it..... Sally-ann

You and Felix make pole dancing a form of art, whereas the others look like strippers. The judges did an injustice not to include you in the finals. You should have at least got 2nd!
@Jamjoree If I were the judges I would have deducted Felix harshly for the trashyness of this year's routein. She may have had the technically most difficult and cleanest routein but the inapropriateness should have really hurt her score.

The transitions in her routine when compared to oona's are almost non-existant. Oona is a gymnast that has taken pole dancing to a level that I have yet to see matched. The worlds have lost credibility as there were several preliminaries who were much better than the finals. It seems that body building and sit ups have become the new norm. This is wrong.

I thought this routine was simply amazing the first time I saw it, and it still continues to captivate me. I was kind of shocked when I found out she didn't make the top 13! Seems absolutely perfect to me.
OOna I'll say it again, you were incredible. the strength, acrobatics, grace, musicality, passion. it was all there, nothing lacking. I was upset to hear you would not be in the finals, you deserved it! I dont know what was going on with the judges but i believe you were cheated out of it and that is not right. but dont let it get you down, just move on knowing you touched and moved all of us with your awesome performance, and just keeping doing what you do! we love you!!

but I have to admit that this video didnt communicate me the same feeling of astonishment as the others did. But anyway this is just in my personal view, and I'm only comparing this performance with the others that you have done, not with other pole dancers, because I think that you always shine more than anyone else

The worlds have lost credibility as there were several preliminaries who were much better than the finals. It seems that body building and sit ups have become the new norm. This is wrong.

wow i was rooting for you so hard core for this event. And so disappointed for the judging. Even more so now that all the videos have come out, we can all see the quality of all performances.
You were top of the line in pole dance performance. That tumble of yours was extremely difficult and done choreographed, what else in pole is needed besides someone performing like you

OOna I'll say it again, you were incredible. the strength, acrobatics, grace, musicality, passion. it was all there, nothing lacking. I was upset to hear you would not be in the finals, you deserved it! I dont know what was going on with the judges but i believe you were cheated out of it and that is not right. but dont let it get you down, just move on knowing you touched and moved all of us with your awesome performance, and just keeping doing what you do! we love you!!

Such grace. Absolute elegance and extreme athleticism. Beautifully executed. You don't need judges to tell you how complete of a performer you are. Keep doing what you do, we love it.
