Sunil shantha represents Sri Lankan music,also ananda samrakoon.But these two greatest legens had very poor living conditions.very unfortunate.

Thanks for posting this. This is certainly not the original 1948 version. Looks like this is from the pirate cassette some one tried to do in 1978 with additional instrumenation on the commercial recording Sunil did in 1961 or so when he introduced the electric guitar for some of his popular songs.
