Now this is the REAL reason why Bronies love MLP. I've been researching as to why they love it, this is the greatest reason. I'm still an anime fan more but I love how this community is so friendly and accepting. Haters do not understand anything, they do not know how much this show has changed their life. People who do not understand the messages from Cartoons need to open their eyes a little more.
back then before i was Brony, i hated all these American cartoons, hell i stayed watching anime for a really long time, after i heared about Bronys & My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic, i told my self don't watch it, never watch it, so weeks later on a boring day, i had nothing to do, so i watched a episode just because i was curious after that i watched the 1st episode i watched the 2nd episode, then so on and so on
You see a show like this, with such a simple message, one of love, friendship, kindness, loyalty, etc. And in our cynical age, our first instinct is to say: well, that's naive. But the thing is, the show's message is true, and it isn't REALLY that hard. The world is what we make of it. If such values are hard to practice, we have no one but ourselves to blame. And if we want to change it, it's up to us. Change in the world begins with change in each person, a ripple effect. Keep up the fight!
I wasn't a depressed. I wasn't suicidal. But I was withdrawn, reclusive; I tended to pull away from the people around me. And I had my fair share of cynicism. I'm completely serious when I say this show helped to open my heart a little and let others back into my life, to take more joy in my friends, to lighten up in my worldview, and realize that you can't be happy unless you love, and happiness is only real when it's shared.
Here's our chance to make it happen. Show the world what Bronies are capable of. Help this organization and show the world what love and tolerance can do!
I started to watch this and was in awe of the fandom I have joined. I've heard about the cured depressives, the suicides that never happened, the friendships made, the massive amount of money donated to charity, the artwork created, the storys written.
And this video shows some of that..... but then the video went a little fuzzy, and I was disappointed, but it was ok, it turned the res up to max and carried on, and it got fuzzy again.

There's a reason why we're so successful. Because no matter what others say, the "neigh"sayers, the trolls, the etc. we kept strong, and never broke apart this great fanbase. We love the show, but it's not just the show anymore. It's about the Bronies now. WE, the Bronies, have been successful. We've kept strong through bas times, and there will be worse times, I promise. Let's stick together, united, like last year, and the year before.
Let's get through another year, and still tolerating :)
I am glad I am man enough to admit that I like the things I like ,and strong enough to deal with the backlash. I feel sympathy for closet bronies, and sad for the bronies out there who want to express their appreciation of the show but cannot, for various reasons.
But remember, the internet connects everyone; as long as we have it, we have each other. If you cannot stand, that is fine. Take solace in the fact that we will always stand beside you, stand with you, and stand for you.

we are a extended familly. our lives have been touched for the better as we are united in the common goal of a better world. humans are corrupt, and this is one ray of light, shining as a beacon from the madness to end. before, the message was never heard, but now it is well time for us to become a more caring society, to respect one another, to be supporitive of each other. conservative, liberal, or what ever else may you be, we are all human underneath, and should treat each other as such.

Before I became a brony, I was a bitter and cynical teen who kept away from his friends and family and only cared about himself. Hell, when I looked up the term "Brony," I ridiculed them. But then I got curious as to why they were so interested in the show; so I watched the first episode. I loved all the vibrant colors, smart humor, interesting characters, and references. Then I became a brony. Now, I'm outgoing, more positive, and confident. I love this community- no, I love this family.
I thanks God for this. Faust has said she never imagined the fan base would include guys as well as all ages. This wasn't planned, but some how a bunch of people love the show. No idea where it's going, but I'll bet a whole bushel of apples it's only going to get better! :D

I thanks God for this. Faust has said she never imagined the fan base would include guys as well as all ages. This wasn't planned, but some how a bunch of people love the show. No idea where it's going, but I'll bet a whole bushel of apples it's only going to get better! :D

ever since i heard of people that liked my little pony friendship is magic i never really minded then one day i was in my living room with my brother and saw it on i watched the end of the episode and thought it was good enough for a try i watched the first episode and had an instant connection with the show it is great and makes people better people in different ways the GREAT songs won my heart and now i am a SERIOUS brony my fav pony is Rainbow D and i agree bronies make it happen

I have also noticed that these people ''bronies'' are very friendly. I am ''half-brony'' in my own opinion, but I talk with people who are bronies. They are the most friendly people around my life, they are themself. They are not trying to be something else, they not want to be rude or ruin your day with being total idiot. Some people make fun of me for being a brony, even though I'm a girl.
I'm not ashamed to be a brony. I embrace it. I met one of the greatest people in the world because of ponies.
It's amazing that even though we do all these wonderful and inspiring things, we still get hate. But we don't care about the haters, do we? We just tolerate them. :)
