Jumping around vs going next to next sounds like a good tip.

Drill cord wasn't near an area where it could melt... I felt completely safe.

@MarkETroy im not really refering to melting the cord, im meaning that your passing an electrical current through what the drill is laying on.

just also realised, i wouldnt wanna leave my electric drill laying on something im welding... food for thought.

if anyone trys this, you should really be jumping around vs, going next to next. expecially running flux.

@mstngsrule68 ya its not a huge deal with the floor because its got the grooves but you have to watch distortion doing that too.i would work outside in
