  • We used to wind ours up, but we loved them.

  • hes like "when she cleans my tank i will shit on her hand!"

  • hes like WAT TEH FAWK ARE U LOOKIN AT LADY??? GTFOUT OF MEH FACE OR ILL BITE TEH FAWK OTTA UR FACE xD

  • It's because you're teasing it it's cruel -.-

  • hes beautiful allthough i wouldnt let him near my tank i rekon half an hour and id have no fish left haha

  • Oscars are like dogs haha, they love to play and greet their owners!

  • @madmax92gsx i agree! my oscar does that. :)

  • your oscars a beautiful specimen, I had one that did this too lol

  • Be funny if he smashed thro the glass as ur girlfriend was teasing him and bit her whole face off.. that wud be a funnier video.

  • Damn nature u scary

  • im glad my oscar is completely docile, even with smaller fish in the tank

  • on man i cant wait for my cichlid to do that do except im gonna make it wanna kill me

  • how can i clean my oscar tank can i just stick my hand in the tank

  • Omg. I want that Oscar. Mine never acts like that. I guess he loves the hand that feeds him! However, I love the attitude of this little guy!!!

    Oscars. The aquatic dog. :)

  • Very pretty Oscar looks like he/she is in good condition! :)

  • You wont stick your hand in there you wot

  • hahaha cool vid mate !! good ol' oscars for ya

  • Hilarious! Oscars are badass fish cuz they are so interactive with people, and they are loaded with attitude and personality.

  • angry ore aggressiv?

  • @MrFinalTable How exactly did you measure your Oscar?

  • Ahhh good times me and my friends would do that to her grandamas oscar

    when we were kids.

(He lived to be maybe 12 im not sure he was old more then 5 i know that)

  • thats well good. too funny. nice oscar

  • It's not really angry, it's probably hungry, knowing oscars...

  • man see thats y people shouldn;t have fish if your going to tease them then get rid of them FUCKING LOSER

  • @skechmasters Oscars are pissy fish, regardless of the environment. They're smart, but no matter what you do they are very territorial and strong and even if you're the one who feeds them, they will put on their aggressive little shows when you walk by the tank or whatever. Mine used to break decorations in her tank and had no problems with jumping up to get food from my hand.

  • This often happens when Oscars are kept on their own. Their behaviour is not the same as when you have a pair of them together or tank full of them .

  • @dinger454 I thought Oscars were happier alone because that is they way they live in the wild. they have a few feet of territory and attack anything that comes into it. And to find a mate, that is the odds of it being the opposite sex. I have been doing a lot of reading and it sounds like they are happier alone.

  • @teresamccann I kept Oscars for many years during the 90's and at one stage had 11 breeding pairs. I also ran the uk Oscar club and was constantly asked about the behaviour of Oscars kept alone which was clearly not the same as those kept in pairs or groups. Now im not the worlds leading authority on Oscars but i know enough to have made 2 dvd's about Oscars and its my opinion that they should be kept with other Oscars. message me and ill give you my Oscar web address

  • @dinger454 I will. This is my first Oscar and 1st fish. I have been reading stuff Ron Coleman and expert cichlid researcher posted. He was the one that said they prefer living alone. I figured I should site my source since I am new to Oscars. Ron is a Assistant Professor at the California State University, Sacramento in the Department of Biological Sciences. He runs Cichlid Research Home Page. I will message you, I would love to learn more. :)

  • that thing looks like a beast

  • @DaSquidsquad The woman or the oscar?

  • if u open ur mouth in front of the oscar it will get mad

  • @caliburn0911 My Oscar does not but it is still very little. It used to try to swim into my mouth. Now I can even pretend to bite at it and it does not care, just keeps begging for food. But it does try to stay at my eye level. So when I am inspecting its tank (gravel) it is usually swimming right in my line of sight and stopping right in front of my face.

  • what size tank?

  • i bet you wont puit your hand down there lol

  • yiur oscar wants to have a french kiss wit ur girl.. xD

  • put him in a pond out back. you'll never have to worry about feeding him. anything that falls in will be fair game including gfs lol.

  • Haha my tiger Oscar does the samething to my dad.

They are smart when I approach the tank he gets happy thinking its feeding time.

  • Hehe maybe because he associates her with treats he's angry because she's not feeding him lol! "Stop making faces at me and GIVE ME TREATS!"

    Congrats on your wedding :-D

  • i think he want to fucker her up in to ways ;)

  • Maybe if she flashes um, he'll settle down. hehe.

  • b00too lol ur comment made me laugh :D

  • I would be angry too if I saw that ass looking at m me.

  • angry, i think he wants to mate lol

  • what an awesome creature! It's beautiful and perfectly evolved for being a "killer"!

  • Then get one. They are not that expensive, all you need is a big tank.

  • which is expensive. lol

  • depending the way you think about it. I am getting a 125gallon tank with a stand for $400. It will house my Alligator Gar, 3 Oscars, and possibly a Fire Eel or a Sting Ray(both are some what expensive). The tank is a glass tank which is still kind of expensive if brand new but Acrylic(plastic) tanks that size are over $1000

  • sorry dude but the alligator gar will grow to big, 125 will b perfect for only ure three os

  • ya but the fire eel will make it perfect. They only grow to 30inches and my tank is 70+inches.

  • ok i think u can get away with it but o gars k ;)

  • lol, it's worth a try. I already know that I will have to put my Gar down eventually.

  • y not simply sell them now

  • I want to see them grow

  • then get a bigger tank im not tryna flame you or sumtin but cant u atleast find sumwhere to put them when they grow putting them down would be ashame post on websites when they atleast5 inches

  • dude, my 125gallon is 6 feet long. I will go to local fish stores and ask them about it and see if they can do anything like put adds up for me or even buy it from me. Once it is about 2-2.5 feet long it will have to go.

  • oh lol i tht put them down meant killing them lil

  • I will do anything I can not to have to resort to that.

  • not a killer just eats ect..

  • its cuz shes ugly!

  • I think the oscar is trying to bite because she is taunting him/her. and w=henever an oscar opens its mouth it is comparing mouth size to fight. If it has a smaller mouth it will run away.

  • My Oscar does that but only when i wear a hat for some strange reason...curious fish

  • mine didn't like me when I wore a hat either. like he couldn't recognize me or something.

  • oscars get angry when there bigger

  • haha my oscar doesnt do that and hes 15 inches!!

  • I'm not much of an Oscar fan, but a fantactic vid.

  • So many comments about how it's not good for the fish. My oscar is now 5 years old, beautiful, a good 14 inches long and healthy as can be. Cichlids are smart enough not to beat themselves silly on the glass. All you hippy whiners that post about it being bad for him, what are you doing watching this vid? Go watch some guy hump a tree. All those who posted and love my "Homer", tyvm, he's a great fish and we love the beast. We don't get him that worked up anymore as he's in a community tank

  • @MrFinalTable My oscar is around 17inch and is on 5year and 6 or 7 months old feed your fish properly plz

  • my friend had one, named it ozzy since it ate the head first, the life of them i think is 11 years. his lived 15 years.

  • nah its actually 30 years for oscars

  • I do like them. I love them actually. They fight so hard that it gives me a rush. I wish I could have a tank to keep some of the many species of fish I catch there. I caught a very nice Tilapia the other day. It was 8 1/2 inches. I do not eat them or any freshwater fish I catch. I hear Oscars are tasty but I won't kill it. They are better to me alive.

Thanks for the video response. I hope our videos get more views because of it. Stay tuned for new Oscar vids next week.

  • That's a good 12-14 inch fish. The biggest I have caught is 12 inches. How I would live to hook that fish you got there! I am sure he will take me for a ride. Check my Oscar fishing vids out. I bring justice to this bully fish with my rod!!!

  • besdieds catching them you know you like them as fish admit it you wouldnt watch these vids if u didnt

  • pretty oscar

  • good vid.

My oscar does that to my dog.

  • Dude, thats not good. The oscar could seriously injure himself slamming into the tank glass like that. You should tell your girlfriend to stop teasing him.

  • the FRIGGIN moment I saw the video, I immediately thought to myself that there will be some sissy-know-it-all that will post THIS exact message, so predictable...

  • hahaha, what have u done to mr. oscar so he hates u that much!! mine just keep on staring at me as if he is the one who bought me to look at me!!!:S

  • what size tank is that. how often do you feed him. does he spit his food out sometimes.

  • sounds fake.

  • how the hell is that fake !!! quality vid

  • he wants more treats

what kind of treats are for oscars

  • he dont like her lol

  • that tiger oscar is big haha

  • that was so funny he thinks hes gonna be fed lmso if he had chance he bite the nose of lol

    carlo

  • LOL!

  • i love this 5 stars i hope mine get like this i have 5 in my 220 take a look when you get time thanx for the upload .... peace

  • youre old buddie dosent like youre new girl friend

  • i want to see a bass vs a oscar. which will win.

  • hahaha thats a pissed oscar!!! nice looking one though nice n healthy

  • put your hand in the water :D

  • XD love it

  • how old is that bad boy?

  • she wouldnt have a chance in that tank

  • stop bugging the oscar, when oscars are at that stage in there lifes(reaching sexual maturity) there are more agressive and sticking your face at the galss will piss them off.and lolz989 dont give oscars live food and if you do not very often its to much protine

  • There carnivores...The only problem would be is that there is too much fat.

  • he looks pretty happy to me... I would love to be in your tank !

  • Yes pretty much. Pellets, Freeze dried and frozen diets are best. Though a few feeders once in a while as a "treat" is fine and seemingly healthy. Though this should be something done *sparingly* to avoid disease and train the Oscar not to eat much smaller tankmates.

  • el mio tambien es asi !! jajajjaa

  • oscar quer dar um beijo

    oscar kiss girl hehehhee

  • Nice Tiger Oscar.

  • He is absolutely GORGEOUS! *steals Homer and runs to put in my tank* LOL! I wish!

  • Aww he is soo angry! Stop teasing him! Your gonna stress him out! He is a real beauty though! Gorgeous red!

  • poor thing give it live food and a bigger tank

    poor thing

  • wot a wanker tibbitt757 is. i've kept oscars before but im into jack dempseys at the min, urs is gorgeous tho mate

  • Five gallons per inch. That baby's probably only 8-9", and that looks like more than 40/45 gallons.

Go eat a dong, and learn to insult. Shiiit.

  • haha i did the same thing with my blood parrots they spawned (X 3) and got territorial... and they bite =)

beautiful oscar, i got a 6" tiger but he doesnt get mad yet.

  • dont stick your finger in the tank haha

  • how did he get so angry? looks pretty cool

  • He's very cute.

  • what do you feed him??? he has some beautiful colors just wondering what you did to get him looking like that.

  • Oh my he realy dosent like her,Congrats on the wedding

  • dude oscars can see through people, he's telling you to ditch that bitch!

  • Ease up dude, I married that chick recently (canadian thanks giving :) )

Thanks for checking out the vid. Now that Homerclese is over a foot long I have to shoot another video of him :)

  • That is the coolest Oscar I've seen. Attitude and Looks. I've got a baby oscar at the moment - not sure how old exactly - only a few months I think (its about 1.75-2.00 inches) - cant wait till mine gets a bit bigger; and I can only dream that it will turn out as beautiful as yours. Well done!

  • haha...fish turns around as if to say "bitch, Kiss my ass"...is that his natural color or does he change colors when he gets mad??

  • He's always that color. Hikari goes a long way I guess. yeah, he freakin' hates her :) He'll have to get used to her though as I just married her last weekend ;)

  • Try Hikari Gold plus! My oscars can't get enough of that!

  • Funny Video. Beautiful Oscar.

  • Is the tank peaceful in the 75 gal?

  • you should put sign putting fingers in tank on own responsibility

  • Back when he was a juvinile did you feed him the same foods as what you feed him now?

  • Yep, Hikari and Omega One. Just smaller sized pellets :)

  • cool!!! so when he/she was a year old how much, howmany and how often you feed this bad boy!!!

  • how big and and how old is this della

  • In the video he's about 10" and a year old, now he's a year and a half or so and a little over 12"...bigger tank now :) He's in a 55G there but has the 75 now.

  • Do you feed him the Omega One cichlid food with the purple cap?

  • Exactly

  • He looks so mad, its funny. You can actually hear the bubbles and water splash from his movements, lol.I am not much of a fish person but having one like him would be entertaining.

  • Looks like he's trying to eat her

  • Your Oscar is gorgeous. His jaw almost locks like a kissing Gourami. I have 4 red belly Pacu and they lost their color, however the Redtail Barb is still very red. I think it is mostly luck. My brothers Oscar has lost its color and he spoils the hell out of it, and does weekly 75% water changes.

  • lol..he hate u lots

  • Glad to find someone with a properly kept oscar! Im tired of explaining to people on youtube why theirs cant stay with the yellow labs in the 20 gallon :)

Yours has VERY nice color, too... Must be the diet. I feed my tiger O hikari cichlid gold + and lots of frozen krill, but he still lost his red

  • Lol, yeah, lots of folks come up with some pretty bad mixtures. I have temporarily as well, but usually only cause a breeding pair was getting too rough with one another and had to be split. Now I have enough dividers that such things don't have to lead to big problems.

Funny how some O's lose their color no matter how well they are looked after eh? Homer still glows orange, part diet and water changes, part luck/genetics I guess.

  • LMFAO! He does not want you there! I love it.

  • Yeah, Hikari is the way to go. Thats what I feed mine.

  • Glad you guys like Homer. I think his colour is good because of the frequent water changes and the foods we give him. I try to give him higher end foods like Hikari, Omega One, stuff like that. Plus, live foods like shrimp and earthworms.

  • I love the coloring. Most seem to lose thier color once they get that big. Thanks for sharing!

  • woah dang!!!!!!!!!!! thatz so kewl

  • My oscar is so tame that I can feed him by hand and pet him, but for some reason, he hates fy girlfriend. He also acts like this with short people and children. If you're under 5 feet tall, he'll try to kill you. My gf is 5'8" so I don't know what the problem is there.
