Anyone who's seen the full episode knows Karin's family all get staked by Victor. Yet at the end of the episode they're all alive again! Now it's not that I actually wanted to see them get killed (because I did NOT) but having them all survive without explaination to me seemed kind of like a cheat.

It probably would have been better if JC Staff wasn't in charge of it. Most of the romance anime they do these days has a similar flavor. I'm sure if Karin was a tsundere, they'd milk the hell out of it like their other romance shows.

Studio Deen would probably have been the best choice for Karin, but that's just my opinion.

Unfortunately, I've never done much research on any animation staff besides Gainax, so I don't entirely understand what you're saying. ^^;;

But the thing that really annoyed me about the anime adaptation was that...it wasn't a complete ending. Sure, the relationship thing was resolved, but they never explained why Karin was different, and they never mention her maternal grandparents.

Well, here's my thoughts on the voices:

Karin - Pretty decent, it actually matches her sense of style within the Manga is any of you have read it.

Kenta - Could be better. I expected, since he looks like Ichigo, for them to share the same voice (or somewhere close)

Fumio - GOD SOMEONE KILL HER!!

Winner - I swear they got lazy when finding this guys dubbed voice.

Karin was the first anime I liked. It's funny because the first 3 times I watched it, it was in Japanese. Happily though Best Buy began to sell some of them so I bought the last 3 dvds (odd I know) so yeah. The ending in English is SUPER cute because he says "my Karin" and screams out "I love her" and in the Japanese anime he doesn't do that.
