The father seems to be the immature one in this situation. I don't know how the son has worked with him as long as he has. I really enjoyed watching the show, but stopped watching because of the father's attitude, violent nature and foul language.
The truth is probably closer to, the father built something with his sons, then success brought the fear of failure into the fathers mind. I don't think it's about envy. It's about breaking habits. Jr. kept going to work late which irked his dad. On top of that, despite the need for creativity, he has to reconcile they have deadline. As for that 20%, I suggests Jr. should give it back since his reputation alone will help his business. It's not right that you use OCC's funds for financing your shop. I guess these two remind of two pizza parlors in NY who are competing with each other who were once family themselves.

Sr. surrounds himself at his place of business with employees that are too afraid to speak the truth, and Sr. just feeds off that.
Sr. has become delusional, it has taken a toll on his health, the creativity of bikes his shop is putting out is lacking a lot of creativity. I feel sorry for Jr. & Mikey having their father treat them in this manner.
