  • The tenor is by Thomas Mears.

  • @95tupolev Yep....

  • @irkibby I thought it was; it also looks the same size as the Tenor; again, close camera, huh!!

What are these like to ring?

  • @simonbellringer They are very easy because they were only rehung around 13 years ago (and are beautifully looked after). Before then they were supposed to be quite rough and the tenor was about 22 cwt before retuning.

  • ,

    ooohh! YUM!

    realllyy reeaaallllyyyy nice!

  • ooh yes.

  • Thats very good! 5*!!!

  • haha that treble doesn't fit really does it. but they are very nice

  • The treble sounds different to the rest because it is about 3 feet away from the camera!

  • The treble sounds particularly nice.

  • A bell in Eb weights just around 980 kg? Here in Germany, a bell in Eb weights around 1.450 kg. The old Rudhall-bells are very nice! They sounding very fine. ;-)

  • @Engerlingraucher indeed, though I have to convert our weights of hundredweight-quarter-pounds, into Kg. Rudhall were a big family that cast a lot of bells that are in many towers all over the country- they sent bells by ship on the river too!
