HD Video gallery using Actionscript 3.0 and Flash CS4

Hi,

Thank you very much for this video.

But I have one problem. Everything works in the preview, but when I export the movie - it doesn't work. I would like to place the gallery on my website, is that some special way to export it? Please help :)

What about adding a loader to unload previous video when you click on the next one? What a waist of time. Very amateur tutorial. disappointing..

Excellent tutorial, but I have a question for you guys. I am working on a project for school and I have to make video gallery, where each letter on keyboard has it's own video to play. It should be like this project you just did, but difference is that videos are triggered by keyboard. Can you give me a code for 'keyboard event listener' that I can use in that project or link if someone found some tutorial on Tube of that topic. Thanx guys

hey i am trying to creat this gallery on my flash site. But doesnt seem to be working i keep gettign an error type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: Motionevent.

Trying to make a player to put on website. I'd like to have 2 thumbnail images stacked vertically to the left; that when clicked will play youtube video in player to the right. I was able to get the thumbnail images from the youtube videos. I have the 2 thumbnails on the stage with a player to the right. Also will the youtube skin show up or should I add one. Please help. Thanks! PS: should I use downloaded videos or reference the 10 or 11 character code in the URL?

@RasTheExhorter007 Hi, you could just click on the <Embed tag below the video on youtube and paste it into your site for the video to show up and play straight from your site.

OR

download "Ashampoo ClipFinder HD" its FREE and can download the youtube video to your desktop, then put the videos into your flv's folder(as described in my tutorial).

@RasTheExhorter007 If you Click on the "flv player" then open the component inpector(shift+F7), you should see an option that lets you select autoplay to false.

That should fix your problem.

Are you loading your buttons or your video through XML?

When does the error occur, do you have the full error message?
