@MRantoineV1 You can use it for other parts of the shoes that are made out of rubber or even plastic. However, I've tried it on the wings on AJ 4's and some rubber midsoles with no noticeable results.

alright. would u say the whitening gel would affect other materials besides leather. and how would you say i would wash it off with water. do you think i could wipe the gel off with a warm towel?

@KrayZkix It has to be a whitening gel I believe. I've never tried or heard of any results for using just whitening toothpaste.

@thrillernight98 It may or may not work, but it is worth a try since it may lighten up the yellowing a shade or two.

@wtfpres07 The pinkish stains right? I haven't seen anyone try it yet. If you do try it, make sure not to get the Plus White gel on the surrounding suede material. It may bleach out the color.

@JFields4 i don't have 14's but i have haze dunk lows. Its the same situation, the soles are glued but you can just "rip" it off by pulling. It doesn't harm the shoes, atleast for my dunks, it shouldn't for yours either

@grantfaith It can, however, it gets harder to clear up the yellowing when you try to use it again after it re-yellows.

How many coats of plus gel did you apply on the midsoles? And are the whitening results permanent or will the midsoles yellow again, but at a faster pace?

@youkilledhiphop Pretty much four 24 hour sessions. Not quite permanent but you can use Plus White again to remove it if it comes back. In terms of faster pace, not as bad if I were to use Sea Glow, which yellows again faster in my opinion.

Toothpaste will clean the midsoles, but in terms of yellowing, it won't do much. It has to be whitening gel.

I don't know if you have tried this yet but I have had some good luck removing stains and dirt from all sorts of with automotive hand cleaner, the cream type without pumice. It works well for cleaning cloth, but it will remove ink from paper labels sometimes, I have tried it on shoes but not for some time. I've actually used it to clean dirt and buildup off of old furniture. Maybe you could try it on a wrecked pair of shoes as an experiment, since it doesn't harm skin it shouldn't harm leather.

Restoration is usually a long process. I've been cleaning shoes for almost 17 years now. Learning new methods throughout the years.
