As far as the anime goes it's kind of stupid to debate on an RPG list and should be taken to a top 10 anime series list. In any case Naruto was an okay series shippuden was better but not great. Yes, In a theoretical world the characters from Dragonball Z would beat the crap out of Naruto, but that doesn't make the series better. Naruto has something that Dragonball Z does not have and it's called plot. Dragonball Z seems like an anime version of Mortal Kombat. Anyway Code Geass Trumps them all.

I agree, this list is pretty good, I won't waste my time arguing the particular spot within the list that each game should be included but I believe the definite best are Suikoden 5, FFX, Star Ocean 3, Legaia 2, and Rogue Galaxy, the Personas and FFXII are debatable I personally wasn't a fan. Both of the Kingdom Hearts are good games but in some cases seem more like platformers. Despite the fact that it has boring dungeons I believe Dark Cloud should have made it as well as Atlier Iris.

I like your overall selection. In my opinion, I personally wouldn't add Final Fantasy 10 to the list, it's not that the game was bad, and it's easy for someone new to start. But the story was predictable and battle system was monochromatic with hardly any individual growth. Legend of Legia 2 just... sucked in my opinion. I actually grinded the game hoping I would get something out of it... with nothing gained by the end besides a waste of time. And as for best anime. Naruto is good, but not best

@burazekun This was my opinion on matters. I liked the overall selection. I personally would replace FFX with Persona 3. I would have likely slipped in somewhere Disagea 2, and Odin Sphere, and replaced Kingdom Hearts 2 with Kingdom Hearts. That is my personal selection, but does not include PSOne or PS3 titles.

Wow... I am pleasantly surprised to see Legaia 2... honestly that game left me with a feeling no other RPG has left me with. It didn't emotionally drain me at all, and yet felt so full of things happening, and atmosphere that I couldn't believe. The amazing music for it alone came out of nowhere, and then I saw that Yasunori Mitsuda who also worked on Xenogears was a part of it, and then suddenly it needed no explanation. Except oddly enough the best music from it wasn't made by him.

It's incredible the number of critics and comments about FFXII... the type of game "LIKE it or HATE it". Personnaly I like it pretty much, in my opinion it cracked the (I will repeat, that's just my opinion...) "boring" and "motionless" combat style of FF series. It equilibrated the strategy and menus of FF series, with the action and speed of an adventure genre. That turns the game pretty much fun and faster (a battle in others FF endure several time, in FFXII that's more objective).

FF XII in #7? Ridiculous. It may not be better than X, but it's a great game. X-2 is bad, and XIII is utter crap with better graphics. (Seriously, the biggest let down I've ever experienced with the FF franchise). Dark Cloud 2 also deserved to be on the list.
