what a classic song......I was just listening to this today and thinking: where has the innocence gone? Who sings lyrics like that anymore? People who make fun of Gibson are just plain ridiculous....she was a pioneer and excelled at everything and left a mark that's much more meaningful than that of future "divas"....Debbie had a way of relating to real people, real girls.....she didn't put on those God-awful airs that we see nowadays....sigh....

The meaning of the song is about relationships going through the usual highs and lows through the years. When the chemistry ends it results in having "No More Rhyme" or connection. I grew up in the 80's listening to her and she still rocks today. She looks even better now minus the baby fat you see her with back in the late 80's.

It was Deborah as wella s Tiffany that actually inspired me to become a songwriter all those years ago, she's a year younger than myself so I remember her times through the late 80's and beyond.
