Great to see hook defense with boxers in mind- they are the ones who worry me most. Question: I usually try and block a hook with a tan sao. Is there a structural advantage to the way you're blocking it, like a biu sau with your pal facing down?

@hangzhoujack It all depends on personal preferences. I use the lop sao to unbalance the puncher.

have you ever had to use wing chun on the streets and what was the outcome?

@007rees Have I ever used WC in the streets of NY, CT and Detroit? Yes, but I could be making that up. I did fight full contact though. That I can't make up. Most WC people have NEVER fought but they make all sorts of negative comments about others. Real fighters usually don't make comments because they are too busy training.
