  • Nice vid. I remember when psi ops played that song during the day prior while we were waiting for night to fall. Song still brings back images of that day. Again, real good job.

  • The best men of a generation over there...God bless you all and stay safe!

  • Dang, I love this song! How come this doesn't have more views?

    Thanks for your service.

  • great video whats you MOS?

  • in the one picture where he had the helmet on a stick or something holding it up... was that to get the enemy to shoot at it and give away his position? i'm only 16 but plan on joining the army and want to try and learn all the tricks/tactics i can to just learn from others.

  • Got some friends in this vid. Thanks for the post, and of course for the service.

    *salutes*

  • I think during the Black Hawk Down disaster, one of the pilots was taken captive. His buddies knew he loved AC/DC so they played it whilst flying over all the houses so they could find him. The pilot heard the music and the heli, took off his shirt, and waved it between the bars of his window in his cell. : )

  • future marine here!

    GET SOME! OORAH!

    Semper fi ;)

  • @danielizzcoolio how far in the future?

  • I know at 255 is esqubels ass. gnner from alpha... that was near the mayors manor i think where me gaubert and demingez got shot at from 3 sides of that fuckin street and lcpl kam came buzzin up the strrett with the SAW

  • first platoon brave company SEMPER FI SGT WELLS

  • The video is great! Did anyone who fought in operation phantom fury know CDR Richard Jadick? I am reading his book now and it has been extremely inspiring to me to pursue my goal of working in a Forward Aid Station.

You guys did amazing in that battle, thank you for your service!

  • We all knew Doc Jadick. He saved our lives or our friends' lives...and sometimes both.

  • @hockemaj

whats the name of his book

  • On Call in Hell

  • i read his book too, its really good.

  • @hockemaj dude GREAT book. I read that a couple years ago andi'm a navy corpsman now. very inspiring. My LPO worked under CDR Jaddick in Fallujah.

  • @hockemaj yea he was my Bn Surgeon... Badass guy!

  • is that bradley faircloth at 1:08 1:12 ?

  • nop the m16 of bradley faircloth did not have a roket loncher and his glogs were black.

  • looks like Kirk Bosselman to me, either way RIP

  • Faircloth is right handed. Like the other poster said ... I think it's Bosselman.

  • 1:42 looks like the "Candy Store"

  • oh yeah were you there.

  • does anyone know who is firing the rocket launcher at 1:07 ?

  • Nice montage. I remember those bells tolling when we were staged to go in at the apartment complex north of the city.

But there are no good war games. That's a paradoxical statement.

  • thank you for your service.

  • Respect to the US military. pantherfan71, may I ask you how you feel about the proposed game, 6 Days In Fallujah?

  • 100% in favor

  • Really? Most vets of Fallujah were so disgusted at the thought of having teh game that I think its been scrapped .

  • Disinformation. Completely inaccurate. The entire game is being QA'ed by Fallujah vets. Actually, the entire concept of the game came from US Marines who fought in Fallujah. As is typical, a very loud minority voiced their displeasure. The game is far from scrapped. It's being worked now.

  • Exactly. I was with 3/1 in Fallujah and I also think that the game is going to be cool.

  • i certainly hope the game does get released. our youth needs to understand whats going on in iraq and what you guys went through. all the good war games today are based on past events, or fictional events (ie call of duty). and no game developers have the balls to make a game about iraq (no good ones anyway).

    thanks for your service

  • @iluvskylines1234 I was in C Co 1/8 in Fallujah. The idea of a video game gives me goosebumps, in a good way.

  • Keep it up guys. You shall have one more added to your ranks soon.

    Semper Fi

  • im glad i didnt come to this video and see among the first few comments some morons from overseas criticizing and insulting our troops and the actions in the war. It really upsets me to hear other people in other countries talk down on our country and our efforts in the war. I'm proud of the friends I have who have served, and proud of those countless who have gave their lives in every great war America has ever been in. USA forever! Marines and Armed Forces Forever. Freedom always!

  • You're welcome...I remove all of those idiot's remarks so people don't have to see how cowardly some people are. They're still out there -- just not going to let them desecrate this page or ruin the memory of those of my brothers who fought and died in Fallujah

  • thank you US marines

  • The marines who fought and died in fallujah need to be remembered for their courageous acts over their.

To all Marines serving and future Marines Semper Fi!

    OORAH!

  • I wont take no prisoners, wont spare no lives!

    Nobodys putting up a fight!

I got my bell, Im gonna take you to hell!

Im gonna get you, satan get you!

    godbless americas military!

  • 1/9 Cav (Infantry) OIF II TF Baghdad. Respect the Fallen. Never Forget 9/11

  • 1/8 is not the Walking Dead. They are the Beirut Battalion, also known as The Cutting Edge. 1/9 is the Walking Dead.

  • No dreams, no spirits, only insomnia mixed with lead.

  • NICE!! lets rember the brothers that no longer walk with us,and that are missed

  • walking dead right?

  • 3:46

Are those marines or Iraqi Army?

The guy in front has an RPK, but the other two guys look like they have M16s, but I don't think we started giving the Iraqis M16s that early in the occupation.

  • Iraqi Army

  • iraqi army, red armbands, 2nd guy might have a G3A2 and the third guy has an AK with what appears to be a polymer tan foregrip and a polymer OD green stock. Their weapons were mixed and matched leftovers, whatever was in good functioning condition.

  • Some truths are hard But that doesnt make them lies Some problems only end When the problem makers die Neils 9:56 am 03/31/2004 * transcribed this time 11:09 pm 02/13/2009 N....again
