I have a window to observe trucks/lorries in transit, I'm literally locked in a square steel-wire fence; and my only escape is the loo. I'm forbidden from listening to music with earphones, and I can never hear the music on my PC because work is too loud. :( Some days, I fancy I'm one of the leaves being blown out of the company yard, passing my window. :P
Work sucks. One of the worst jobs I had was in a factory that bottled up bleach. We got covered in it, it bleached our hair, our clothes. Stunk like Hell. One guy was looking lost, so I asked him if he was ok and how long he'd been working there... he'd been there for fucking seven years!
The three of us who started that day never went back. Though it wasn't the worst job I've had. LOL.
Actually I do the thing with music when ever my sister comes to visit with her kids. It is better not to hear anything but music when every other sound is that of chaos.
