Correct, but Jesus never told us not to use drugs. So I assume its ok to use them. He never told us not to use mobile phones. They cause brain cancer. So its ok to use them. The idea was that all the bad spirits focused heavily on the child with a birthday, and the more people who could be around them that day the more protection they would have. They are not perfect, nor you or I. The rest of their music is correct, and has changed many lives. The writers of the song probably were under the influence that because Jesus was a human, in physical form only, that he went to hell because he died. They were completely mistaken. Just wondering. If Jesus didnt know why he came, then we would really be doomed. Imagine this. Jesus is born and grows up not knowing his purpose. Just because someone talks about God, sings about God doesnt mean they really are of God. Maybe their music has changed many lives, but in what way. Third Day plays music that appeal to young people. While it may be nice, it is not going to bring you to Jesus or save you. It only appeals to your emotions. Like having a drink of Coca-Cola. You're not drinking it because it is good for you, but because it feels good. And I just wonder if they were singing in old traditional way how many people would really be saved just because they play in a Christian way. Its about his word, not someones music or their works, etc. If Third Day was bringing people to Jesus you wouldnt need any other church not even the Bible. And remember if you add something to the Bible or take away or change the meaning that is not the Bible any more. Because if you change one thing, why stop at one. Theres two, three... Which in the end means that when you stand in front of God he wont be able to judge you because you can just say; Well, God Ive just read what written was and as people have written it they may have made mistakes, so you cant judge me, because how would I know what the truth was. depends on what translation you get. If you get a paraphrase (which I do not recommend) then you can make that argument. If we are talking about direct translations from the Greek and Hebrew text (such as the NASB, the ESV, or the NKJB) then you can not.

One thing I did hear, was that Third Day did not write Creed. Pay attention to Mac saying the artist's name at the beginning of the song.. on the Chronology 2 CD. But, it is Third Day's mistake for singing it. Although, that is no reason for you to stop listening to them.

Why I am not going to listen to Third Day ever again? I just found out that they say that Jesus descended into hell

and on the third day He rose again in the song by the title 'Creed". The Bible doesn't mention hell at all. If you can show that Jesus did go to hell you are welcome to do so.
