surely one of the best games I've played in a very long time. Thanks Playdead for showing us you don't need a multi million dollar budget to make a great game. Speaking of which, I hear Activision have bought the rights to Limbo 2: "The bar has been lowered" :O)

@bendybruce There will not be a Limbo 2. Playdead said so themselves. They are, however, making a different game. It'll be a few years until it comes out, though.

hard to believe that this game was practically home made. First half of its development was being made by 2 friends, who eventually decided to hire outside help mainly for programming which lead up to the founding of the playdead company lol. Previously they made several games as pretty much a hobby.

This is a cool litte puzzle game but considering the length and simplicity it is not worth $10. Less than 3 hours to complete. I expected just a bit more. In all honesty this is Monochrome, single player, single layer, spooky version of Little Big Planet.

@rz22g I would say $10 is a very reasonable price for a 3 hour game. People spend more than that just to see a movie on the big screen these days. Sure I would love for this to be longer but I would happily pay another $10 for 3 more hours. Also, comparing this to LBP is just plain wrong, the only similarity at all is they are both platform games. This was one of the most unique games I have played in long time.

@wtmac02 This entire game could be created using LBP or LBP 2 create mode. The similarity does not stop at both being platformers. It is basically a dumbed down, black and white LBP so its really not unique at all.

До Лимбо никакому инди-платформеру не удавалось настолько передать атмосферу и обладать такой потрясной стилистикой.

I reckon it's kind of the first game to use a dark environment. Because most puzzle platformers don't even think about stuff like this. Other games of this genre generally have a WAY more colorful feel (Braid for example). ^!^ love both games.
