what were your sysmptoms? did you feel symptoms like mal de debarquement syndrome. could you drive? mine goes away when i drive. 50K of mri's and barely a diagnosis through exlusion. should i ask my ent to test me for vascular loop compression?
I have been having a pulse in my ear for 3 to 4 years. They told me it was fluid in my ears. I have been taking antihistamines and decongestants. Sept 2'nd 2008 I woke up with nausea and vertigo. I saw an Ent Dr. he referred me to a neurologist. I had a CT scan. I am now having and MRI and some other tests. Thanks for the video.
i have been dizzy 365/24/7 for about three years, NOBODY can figure it out. i cant work, i can hardly drive anymore, and as for the tests, you name it, ive done it. i was wondering, is this nerve in your head? if so, is it any kind of special m.r.i? or will a normal one work? i have had two m.r.i's and havnt found anything. and the more days that go by, the worse that i feel.
I was diagnosed with Vestibular Loop Compression(an artery lays across your vestibular nerve)I have dizziness, lightheadedness, headaches, fatigue,
forgetfullness. The more I try to do the worse the symptoms.I cant drive & I stummble alot. Most of the time I catch myself, but there are times when I dont & I fall.I am like this All the time. Just some days are way worse than others(on a scale of 1-10 I go between 5 1/2 to 8)(luckily I havent been to 10 in several months)I have had this for 9yrs now
Sorry it's been awhile since i checked this site. The teflon lifts the artery off the vestibular nerve and keeps it from laying on it and putting pressure on that nerve.
Sorry I haven't checked this site in a while. You should have your Dr. check you for Vascular Loop Compression. (It is were an artery in looped across your vestibular nerve)
they do a more detailed MRI to see this.
I had many Regular MRI's that came back normal. So have them test for this specifically.
my balance is soo messed up i dont even drive can some body help me?
