To test this, pull out the card and start your console, there will be no blocks except for one or two transparent ones. I guess the video poster's mem card was 90% full.

@gimmesomechange Actually no. They show how many PlayStation games and DVDs you have played in the system. Delete the system config file on your memory card and all the towers will disappear. Play a PSX game or DVD and you will gain a tower.
