  • Great playin! Love this track...Pino is unreal

  • Thanks for another bass cover lesson to chew on!

  • Also like the micky feat live version

  • Great playing to a great track! Thanks.

  • wow. I've been a Floyd' fan and a bassplayer for about 15 years, and I think this was a perfect version.

I've been surfing youtube for Pino Palladino stuff lately, and it came as a surprise that the bassline in this song is played by him.

I've always thought it was David Gilmour who did the bass on this song.

    Nice surprise!

Can you please make video of you playing John Mayer Trio - Wait until tomorrow?

  • awesome job! you ( as did I ) seemed amazed at how incredible the harmonic at 1:32 sounded! keep up the good work pino!

  • DUDE! From one musician to another, RIGHT ON!!!! I have ALWAYS love the bass in this tune and hearing it brought out shows how amazing it really is. EXCELLENT!

  • nice job- as are all your vids. What is the effect you click with your hand(chorus?)what brand

  • Thanks my friend!

It's a phaser (tortuga effects:BASS Standard Issue Phaser): you can find a nice video about it on their channel (TortugaEffects) on youtube.

  • nice job - really good tone.

  • Nice song choice. I think Pino is a real master on the bass, yet coming after John Entwisitle with the Who in this generation, and doing so much session work, he never got the credit due him, whether melodic or funky. You play well, too! Obviously, I'm also a fan of Jaco Pastorius and Wictor Wooten...

  • Great job! Nice wound & intonation.

One of my favourite cd's actually. Great drumming by Jeff Porcaro aswell.

    Keep posting !

    Cheers,

    Rob

  • Thanks for posting Ato, Palladino creates amzing melodic bass lines. Your Sabre does a fine job, great intonation and tone! Thanks man!

  • Thank you for the apreciation! You're right about the bass: I love its tone (it's the closest I have found to a pre ernie stingray).

  • You deserve to have your own fanclub. If that happens someday, I will be the first one in it.

  • Thanks mate but all the credit goes to Pino Palladino, I only try to express my admiration for him.

  • Another great bit of playing ato, just love to hear you , its an education to watch your videos. you do make it look so easy.

    Thanks !

  • Thanks, you're too kind!

  • Awesome playing, as usual! A favorite of mine since I first heard the 'About Face' album!

  • Thanks Manny! Nice to hear from you again.
