It only affects your mind because you listen to these songs with your ears.If you listen to the words you'll forget everything,and you'll keep thinking of what really you are .If you deserve the name of Muslim or not .The bad music(haram) which is accompanying bad words makes people dance and forget about themselves.But these ones make people happy in another way .they feel the whole loooooove for ALLAH and his prophet (saw) that makes a huge difference between HALLAL and HARAM .

The right question what Allah says or the messenger of Allah says, not that we think?
Islam is a religion of moderation, the middle course, we know that.
The prophet is the only role model for all true followers, those who saw his presence or did not see his presence. This is the basic rule.
The right question is did the prophet (pbuh) listen to music for spiritual uplift?
We need to be honest with our own selves, regardless.

yes my brother music is harram with exeptions like those certian drums made out of certian skins which do not hav affect on the mind.

My brother's Music is Haram is Islam..
I love his nasheed's but i dont feel good when i listn to it coz of music...I really wishd if music was'nt there in his nasheed's!!!
