  • popular music will always be a pile of shit. there's LOTS of kids who like 'under ground music' but they can often be almost as bad as people that listen to popular music.they often think they are smarter people or better musicians just because they listen to that music and pretend to know all the 'technical terms' for every thing.i HATE hanging around most musicians. anyone that's into music around highschool age knows what i am talking about

    Long live Frank.

Saw him in Hawaii on my 21st, still have the lai he wore on stage.

  • if you get a chance...zappa and captain beefheart doing a version of the teddy bears picnic.

  • Man, Crew Slut is just about the dirtiest sounding song (musically) that he ever wrote.

  • YESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Frank Zappa always cheers me up

  • she was ssssucking cock, back stage at the armory............

  • and on the 7th day.....god created zappa...

  • Personally I miss the sheer randomness of acts like Zappa. Stuff like this and Bonzo dog doo daa band just don't seem to exist these days. Everyones either crying into a paul smith sleeve like coldplay or talking about their 'bling and ting'. I realise there are certain aspects of that in Zappa too, but its always more ironic. Where are the people or the bands today who will just take a far out idea and just run with it as a concept on an album?

  • @BelatedCommiseration

what about mike patton outfits, fantomas and especially mr bungle. there is stuff out there man if you know where to look for it

  • an evil barbarian with a wrench in his pocket!

  • give me catholic girls vd and sluts

  • heard this sexiest song on the radio in Ireland.Thought of this bet the DJ wouldnt play this "Catholic girls lol".

  • there is a god...his name zappa

  • @farkennel1 and chocolate jesus... his name waits

  • Frank Zappa...was, is, and always will be a true genius. We sure could use him today as the state of modern music is a sea of CR*P for today's youth. Hopefully some of them will survive the barrage of SH$T that is out there today, and find Zappa records and tapes in their parents music collection and discover the greatness that is FZ!

  • @WENDYSMITH37 Do not lose hope, such a person is me!

  • @WENDYSMITH37 Actually Wendy, there is tons of great music and musician out there....you just have to look. Zappa wasn't all that mainstream in his time either...you had to seek him out.....Good fun stuff nonetheless....

  • @mrwestern123 yep zappa wasnt in your local k-mart in 77

  • @WENDYSMITH37 I happen to be fifteen, and I LOVE this stuff. I DESPISE the sh*t that my generation calls music.

  • @WENDYSMITH37 i like zappa but i am sure our parents felt the same way about his music when it came out ... he never really got alot of radio play imagine if he was still alive . with internet ect he would be still blowing minds .. not that his music isn't doing that today .. but i do agree with u on some levels cookie cut singers suck

  • @WENDYSMITH37 he'd kick your ass for censoring yourself...hope you know that.
