i am soon purchasing a bjd doll bobobie mei and dont have any pastels or anything fancy just wondering if i could only use charcaol and watercolour pencils or if i have to purchase the pastels
GORGEOUS!! I'm hoping to get a doll in the next few months, so it's really cool to see someone doing their own faceup!! How long have you been doing your own?

The tutorial looks awesome in pictures, but I don't understand why all this zooming in and out was necessary - it doesn't make the video more interesting to look at, just more annoying...
I like the face up, and the tips, but the video is difficult to follow. I'm trying to read the words but they're sliding all over the screen and the teeny font is killing my eyes. I'd rather see less artsy film attempts and more actual tutorial, because this is actually one of the better tutorials and face-ups I've seen.
@otakubuu Belladonna first posted this tutorial on DoA. Orignally it was not made with the purpose of a video in mind. If you would like to see it as just pictures copy and paste this

i want to get one of these dolls but i have little info on them. could you give me some information about them? like height and such?cost? can you buy them already customized? thing like that. if you could tell me information like that i woul be muhc apprecuated
@theangelkap heights vary - i think the basic sizing is smaller / yosd / msd / sd / bigger and smaller ones will be like the pukis from fairyland. yosd's range from 21 ~ 26 cm in height msd's range from 41 ~ 46 cm and sd's range from 58 ~ 62 cm and bigger ones can be all the way up to 70cm or taller (all rough measurements). Naturally, costs vary too depending on the size and company. as far as i know the only customizing you can get from companies are getting their ears pierced ...
@theangelkap If you haven't already, you'll want to look around Den of Angels for all the information you need, since every question you could ever want answered about them can be found there. Registration is invite only at the moment, but if you PM me your email address I'll send you one! :)
As for price they can be /extremely/ expensive. A common bjd price is anywhere from $400-800 USD. It's not a casual kind of hobby, so do research and really think hard about whether you want one or not. :)
This looks amazing! At 1:00 it sort of reminds me of Gerard Way from My Chemical Romance lol! =) I'd love to get into this doll art thing, is this a hobby or did you study this? Cool vid 5 stars!
Beautiful beautiful face up :O I was wondering what wig that is, I've been looking for one like that but can't seem to find one.

What type of Liquitex acrylic do you use? Does it have to be soft or heavy as I can see two types on their site? Thanks!
