  • Who sells competitive priced EPS molds?

  • What is the cost of this machine?? and what skill set/experience you need to have to operate this machine. Also please guide as to how many repeatitions this type of mould can handle??

  • @mqaslam We used the hot wire CNC machine (8300, 8600 or 8700) for the twisted body and the square base and top, and we used 3000 foam shaper for the rounded profile on the top and bottom. We also have a dedicated machine for typical balusters (2000 Lathe).

Please contact salesinfo (at) hotwiredirect (dot) com to get a current prices. Software is not too complicated, especially since we cover everything in training.

With the epoxy it could do 10-20 repetitions approx, raw foam only 5.

  • Great machine!

  • Where is the step making the female molds? They just apear!

  • The twist part was cut on the CNC machine using a straight wire while the foam was on the turntable-rotating. The round top and bottom cuts were done on the Shaper machine.
