really Tibetans on the outside cannot think they know the hearts and minds of all Tibetans in Tibet. many Tibetans are apprehensive for change; read: your idea of change. nobody can know what anybody else really wants. you say that NGO or others cannot speak for Tibetans inside Tibet.  Many Tibetan exiles have never been to Tibet and know little about it. Rinchen Lhamo, author of "We Tibetans" has no idea about her own country and wrote a book about it-laughable stiff lip account really!

Wonderful interview. Lhadon should do this once in a while because not only does Jamyang la knows a lot about politics, he is very insightful in cultural matters.
